God hears and answers prayer. That is a FACT. The Bible says: "Ask and it shall be given you, seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you: For everyone that asks receiveth; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened." (Matt.7: 7,8) - Everyone may call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. Everyone may pray and if we pray in faith, God will answer. If we believe that He hears us and if we appropriate His promises for ourselves expecting to receive an answer we will receive. That is God's Word on the matter. - Pastor Max Solbrekken

              THE KEY TO RECEIVING!
By Pastor Max Solbrekken. D.D.

The Holy Bible say: "And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and assure our hearts before Him. For if our heart condemn us God is greater than our hearts and knows all things."

The greatest hindrance to believing for miracles is sin consciousness. Guilt for sin replaces faith with trepidation and unbelief. We, however, do not need to worry because God is greater than all our doubts and fears.

God knows something that our heart does not know. He is greater than our heart. He has the solution to our problem! The BLOOD of Jesus Christ washes away our sins when we repent. Once the blood touches our spirit and mind the condemnation leaves, and faith rushes in to fill the void.

God's Word states: "Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of Him, because we keep His commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight." (1 John 3:19-22)

                        WOMAN WITH ISSUE OF BLOOD!

The desperate urgency of our needs causes our spirits to reach out to touch God in the same way the woman with the issue of blood touched the hem of Jesus' garment. She was desperate because she had tried everything without receiving the much needed miracle.

She was unable to get near the Lord Jesus because of the great crowd, but God always makes a way where there is faith. Jesus stood still when the messenger from Jairus' household arrived. In her weakness and desperation, the woman moved toward Him on her knees and touched the hem of His garment and was instantly healed!

Why did she touch the hem of His robe? Possibly because she was weak and couldn`t get near Him except on her knees. Also, righteous Jews were commanded to have a “ribband of blue sewn into the borders of their garments. This spoke of the righteousness of God pertaining to a holy life!
She recognized that Jesus was righteous! (Numbers 15: 38-41)

The Bible says: "He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God

"And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will He hears us: And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him." (1 John 5:12-15)

  If we know that He hears us when we pray, then we can be certain that He will answer. And because He has not changed and cannot change, has not lied and cannot lie and has not failed and cannot fail, then we can be sure that He hears when we pray!

ASK IN FAITH BELIEVING & RECEIVE!

Repeatedly our Lord Jesus Christ urged poor sinners to come to Him for forgiveness and healing. He also invited Believers to receive the Blessed Holy Spirit and power! He said: “Come unto Me all ye who labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.” (Matt.11: 28);

“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” (John 3:36); “He that believeth on Me, as the Scripture hath sais, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. But this He spake of the Spirit, which they that believe on Him should receive...” (John 7: 37, 38). Amen.
