Very Sad.!!! The Presbyterian Church Rejects Christ our Propitiation / Mercy Seat, Who shed His precious blood to atone for our sins. Propitiation means that Almighty God was satisfied with the death of Christ to atone for all the sins of the world. The shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, satisfied the demands of Divine Justice, thus satisfying the wrath of God against our sins! The Bible states, "Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission." (Heb.9:22); "It is the blood that maketh atonement for the soul." (Lev.17:11); "The BLOOD of Jesus Christ, His Son cleanseth us from all sins." (1 John 1: 7). St. Paul writes: "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a PROPITIATION through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God: To declare, I say, at this time His righteousness: that He might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus Christ." (Rom.3:27). St.John writes: "For He (Christ) is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins." (1 John 2:2; 4:10). May God grant repentance and forgiveness for all backsliders who are seeking to destroy the faith of Believers in Christ. - Pastor Max Solbrekken

PCUSA rejects popular hymn “In Christ Alone”

Timothy George explains why the Presbyterian Church USA has recently rejected the hymn “In Christ Alone” from its new hymnal:

Recently, the wrath of God became a point of controversy in the decision of the Presbyterian Committee on Congregational Song to exclude from its new hymnal the much-loved song “In Christ Alone” by Keith Getty and Stuart Townend.

The Committee wanted to include this song because it is being sung in many churches, Presbyterian and otherwise, but they could not abide this line from the third stanza: “Till on that cross as Jesus died/the wrath of God was satisfied.”

For this they wanted to substitute: “…as Jesus died/the love of God was magnified.”

The authors of the hymn insisted on the original wording, and the Committee voted nine to six that “In Christ Alone” would not be among the eight hundred or so items in their new hymnal.

There is no surprise in this news. Although not all PCUSA churches are theologically liberal, the denomination by and large is. Liberalism and wrath go together like oil and water; they don’t mix. And historically speaking, one of them eventually has to go. When wrath goes, so does the central meaning of the atonement of Christ—penal substitution. At the end of the day, the cross itself is the stumbling block, and that is why the PCUSA cannot abide this hymn.

Bill Clinton called him 'The Amateur'. Barack Obama is now known as 'The Food Stamp President'. Unfortunately, the former Community Organizer from Chicago has delivered a debt blow. Canadians are puzzled at the enormity of stupidity and scandal emanating daily from the USA. May God have mercy upon America. - Pastor Max Solbrekken

Associated Press
Four out of 5 U.S. adults struggle with joblessness, near-poverty or reliance on welfare for at least parts of their lives, a sign of deteriorating economic security and an elusive American dream.
Survey data exclusive to The Associated Press points to an increasingly globalized U.S. economy, the widening gap between rich and poor, and the loss of good-paying manufacturing jobs as reasons for the trend.
The findings come as President Obama tries to renew his administration's emphasis on the economy, saying in recent speeches that his highest priority is to "rebuild ladders of opportunity" and reverse income inequality.
As nonwhites approach a numerical majority in the U.S., one question is how public programs to lift the disadvantaged should be best focused -- on the affirmative action that historically has tried to eliminate the racial barriers seen as the major impediment to economic equality, or simply on improving socioeconomic status for all, regardless of race.
Hardship is particularly growing among whites, based on several measures. Pessimism among that racial group about their families' economic futures has climbed to the highest point since at least 1987. In the most recent AP-GfK poll, 63 percent of whites called the economy "poor."
"I think it's going to get worse," said Irene Salyers, 52, of Buchanan County, Va., a declining coal region in Appalachia. Married and divorced three times, Salyers now helps run a fruit and vegetable stand with her boyfriend but it doesn't generate much income. They live mostly off government disability checks.
"If you do try to go apply for a job, they're not hiring people, and they're not paying that much to even go to work," she said. Children, she said, have "nothing better to do than to get on drugs."
While racial and ethnic minorities are more likely to live in poverty, race disparities in the poverty rate have narrowed substantially since the 1970s, census data show. Economic insecurity among whites also is more pervasive than is shown in the government's poverty data, engulfing more than 76 percent of white adults by the time they turn 60, according to a new economic gauge being published next year by the Oxford University Press.
The gauge defines "economic insecurity" as a year or more of periodic joblessness, reliance on government aid such as food stamps or income below 150 percent of the poverty line. Measured across all races, the risk of economic insecurity rises to 79 percent.
Marriage rates are in decline across all races, and the number of white mother-headed households living in poverty has risen to the level of black ones.
"It's time that America comes to understand that many of the nation's biggest disparities, from education and life expectancy to poverty, are increasingly due to economic class position," said William Julius Wilson, a Harvard professor who specializes in race and poverty. He noted that despite continuing economic difficulties, minorities have more optimism about the future after Obama's election, while struggling whites do not.
"There is the real possibility that white alienation will increase if steps are not taken to highlight and address inequality on a broad front," Wilson said.
Nationwide, the count of America's poor remains stuck at a record number: 46.2 million, or 15 percent of the population, due in part to lingering high unemployment following the recession. While poverty rates for blacks and Hispanics are nearly three times higher, by absolute numbers the predominant face of the poor is white.
More than 19 million whites fall below the poverty line of $23,021 for a family of four, accounting for more than 41 percent of the nation's destitute, nearly double the number of poor blacks.
Sometimes termed "the invisible poor" by demographers, lower-income whites generally are dispersed in suburbs as well as small rural towns, where more than 60 percent of the poor are white. Concentrated in Appalachia in the East, they are numerous in the industrial Midwest and spread across America's heartland, from Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma up through the Great Plains.
Buchanan County in southwest Virginia is among the nation's most destitute based on median income, with poverty hovering at 24 percent. The county is mostly white, as are 99 percent of its poor.
More than 90 percent of Buchanan County's inhabitants are working-class whites who lack a college degree. Higher education long has been seen there as nonessential to land a job because well-paying mining and related jobs were once in plentiful supply. These days many residents get by on odd jobs and government checks.
Salyers' daughter, Renee Adams, 28, who grew up in the region, has two children. A jobless single mother, she relies on her live-in boyfriend's disability checks to get by. Salyers says it was tough raising her own children as it is for her daughter now, and doesn't even try to speculate what awaits her grandchildren, ages 4 and 5.
Smoking a cigarette in front of the produce stand, Adams later expresses a wish that employers will look past her conviction a few years ago for distributing prescription painkillers, so she can get a job and have money to "buy the kids everything they need."
"It's pretty hard," she said. "Once the bills are paid, we might have $10 to our name."
Census figures provide an official measure of poverty, but they're only a temporary snapshot that doesn't capture the makeup of those who cycle in and out of poverty at different points in their lives. They may be suburbanites, for example, or the working poor or the laid off.
In 2011 that snapshot showed 12.6 percent of adults in their prime working-age years of 25-60 lived in poverty. But measured in terms of a person's lifetime risk, a much higher number -- 4 in 10 adults -- falls into poverty for at least a year of their lives.
The risks of poverty also have been increasing in recent decades, particularly among people ages 35-55, coinciding with widening income inequality. For instance, people ages 35-45 had a 17 percent risk of encountering poverty during the 1969-1989 time period; that risk increased to 23 percent during the 1989-2009 period. For those ages 45-55, the risk of poverty jumped from 11.8 percent to 17.7 percent.
Higher recent rates of unemployment mean the lifetime risk of experiencing economic insecurity now runs even higher: 79 percent, or 4 in 5 adults, by the time they turn 60.
By race, nonwhites still have a higher risk of being economically insecure, at 90 percent. But compared with the official poverty rate, some of the biggest jumps under the newer measure are among whites, with more than 76 percent enduring periods of joblessness, life on welfare or near-poverty.
By 2030, based on the current trend of widening income inequality, close to 85 percent of all working-age adults in the U.S. will experience bouts of economic insecurity.
"Poverty is no longer an issue of `them', it's an issue of `us'," says Mark Rank, a professor at Washington University in St. Louis who calculated the numbers. "Only when poverty is thought of as a mainstream event, rather than a fringe experience that just affects blacks and Hispanics, can we really begin to build broader support for programs that lift people in need."
The numbers come from Rank's analysis being published by the Oxford University Press. They are supplemented with interviews and figures provided to the AP by Tom Hirschl, a professor at Cornell University; John Iceland, a sociology professor at Penn State University; the University of New Hampshire's Carsey Institute; the Census Bureau; and the Population Reference Bureau.
Among the findings:
-- For the first time since 1975, the number of white single-mother households living in poverty with children surpassed or equaled black ones in the past decade, spurred by job losses and faster rates of out-of-wedlock births among whites. White single-mother families in poverty stood at nearly 1.5 million in 2011, comparable to the number for blacks. Hispanic single-mother families in poverty trailed at 1.2 million.
--Since 2000, the poverty rate among working-class whites has grown faster than among working-class nonwhites, rising 3 percentage points to 11 percent as the recession took a bigger toll among lower-wage workers. Still, poverty among working-class nonwhites remains higher, at 23 percent.
--The share of children living in high-poverty neighborhoods -- those with poverty rates of 30 percent or more -- has increased to 1 in 10, putting them at higher risk of teenage pregnancy or dropping out of school. Non-Hispanic whites accounted for 17 percent of the child population in such neighborhoods, compared with 13 percent in 2000, even though the overall proportion of white children in the U.S. has been declining.
The share of black children in high-poverty neighborhoods dropped from 43 percent to 37 percent, while the share of Latino children went from 38 percent to 39 percent.
--Race disparities in health and education have narrowed generally since the 1960s. While residential segregation remains high, a typical black person now lives in a nonmajority black neighborhood for the first time. Previous studies have shown that wealth is a greater predictor of standardized test scores than race; the test-score gap between rich and low-income students is now nearly double the gap between blacks and whites.
Going back to the 1980s, never have whites been so pessimistic about their futures, according to the General Social Survey, a biannual survey conducted by NORC at the University of Chicago. Just 45 percent say their family will have a good chance of improving their economic position based on the way things are in America.
The divide is especially evident among those whites who self-identify as working class. Forty-nine percent say they think their children will do better than them, compared with 67 percent of nonwhites who consider themselves working class, even though the economic plight of minorities tends to be worse.
Although they are a shrinking group, working-class whites -- defined as those lacking a college degree -- remain the biggest demographic bloc of the working-age population. In 2012, Election Day exit polls conducted for the AP and the television networks showed working-class whites made up 36 percent of the electorate, even with a notable drop in white voter turnout.
Last November, Obama won the votes of just 36 percent of those noncollege whites, the worst performance of any Democratic nominee among that group since Republican Ronald Reagan's 1984 landslide victory over Walter Mondale.
Some Democratic analysts have urged renewed efforts to bring working-class whites into the political fold, calling them a potential "decisive swing voter group" if minority and youth turnout level off in future elections. "In 2016 GOP messaging will be far more focused on expressing concern for `the middle class' and `average Americans,"' Andrew Levison and Ruy Teixeira wrote recently in The New Republic.
"They don't trust big government, but it doesn't mean they want no government," says Republican pollster Ed Goeas, who agrees that working-class whites will remain an important electoral group. His research found that many of them would support anti-poverty programs if focused broadly on job training and infrastructure investment. This past week, Obama pledged anew to help manufacturers bring jobs back to America and to create jobs in the energy sectors of wind, solar and natural gas.
"They feel that politicians are giving attention to other people and not them," Goeas said.

Evolution Fraud Rampant...What's New? The bottom Line:It all began in the Garden of Eden when the 'First Liar' deceived Eve by putting doubts about God and His truthfulness into her mind. The fraudulent so-called Evolutionary Scientists are following in the steps of the power hungry Deceiver, Satan the Big Liar! - Pastor Max Solbrekken

Why the epidemic of fraud exists in science today

Posted on
missing-linkThe Piltdown hoax is one of the most famous cases of fraud in science.1 Many Darwinists, though, claim that this case is an anomaly, and that fraud is no longer a problem today. However, the cases of fraud or deception in the field of evolution include not only the Piltdown Man, but Archaeoraptor, the peppered moth, the Midwife Toad, Haeckel’s embryos, Ancon sheep, the Tasaday Indians, Bathybius haeckelii and Hesperopithecus (Nebraska Man)—the missing link that turned out to be a pig.2-8 Actually, fraud as a whole is now ‘a serious, deeply rooted problem’ that affects no small number of contemporary scientific research studies, especially in the field of evolution.9 Scientists have recently been forced by several events to recognize this problem and try to deal with it.10
Most of the known cases of modern-day fraud are in the life sciences.11 In the biomedical field alone, fully 127 new misconduct cases were lodged with the Office of Research Integrity (US Department of Heatlh & Human Services) in the year 2001. This was the third consecutive rise in the number of cases since 1998.12 This concern is not of mere academic interest, but also profoundly affects human health and life.13,14 Much more than money and prestige are at stake—the fact is, fraud is ‘potentially deadly’, and in the area of medicine, researchers are ‘playing with lives’.15  The problem is worldwide. In Australia misconduct allegations have created such a problem that the issue has even been raised in the Australian Parliament, and researchers have called for an ‘office of research integrity’.16
One example is the widely quoted major immunological research studies related to kidney transplantation done by Zoltan Lucas (M.D. from Johns Hopkins and Ph.D. in biochemistry from MIT) that recently were found to contain fraudulent data.17 Dr Lucas was an associate professor of surgery at Stanford University. His graduate student, Randall Morris, discovered that Lucas had written reports on research that Morris knew had not been carried out. The reason Morris knew this was that he was to have been involved in the research! The studies were published in highly reputable journals and, no doubt, many other researchers also relied upon the results for their work. As a result of the modern fraud epidemic, a Nature editorial concluded:
‘Long gone are the days when scientific frauds could be dismissed as the work of the mad rather than the bad. The unhappily extensive record of misconduct suggests that many fraudsters believe their faked results, so attempts at replication by others represent no perceived threat.’18….

Jesus Christ healed the sick and gave authority and power to His followers to do the same in His Name, by His power and through the Virtue of His BLOOD that was shed on Calvary's Cross for us! - Pastor Max Solbrekken

By Pastor Max Solbrekken, D.D.

Thank you so much for writing. Without doubt, we are seeing an escalation of sickness and disease across the globe, even as medical science tries to keep abreast through extensive  research.
It was even worse during the time of Moses, when God made a Covenant of Healing with the nation of Israel, based upon the Coming Messiah King, Whom we know to be Jesus Christ.
Here it is: "If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in His sight, and wilt give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee." (Exodus 15: 26)
Again the Word of God states: "And ye shall serve the Lord your God and He shall bless thy bread and thy water, and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee." (Exodus 23: 25)
Although sickness and disease were rampant, God protected His people and made them well from those plagues! The Psalmist David built on those promises when he exclaimed: "Bless the Lord O my soul and forget not all His benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities: Who healeth all thy diseases."(Psalms 103: 1-3)
Here is the answer to the question why divine healing was pledged by Almighty God to His people: "Surely He hath borne our griefs and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53: 4,5)
The Bible states: "When the even was come, they brought unto Him many that were possessed  with devils: and He cast out the spirits with His Word, and healed all that were sick. That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself`took our infirmities, and bear our sicknesses." (Matthew 8: 16, 17)
The Bible is it own best commentator. Here St. Peter states: "Who His own Self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: By Whose stripes ye were healed." (1 Peter 2: 24)
Believe that, my dear friend. Cast yourself on God's mercy. Remember, that divine healing is a GIFT from God because of the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ Who purchased our salvation through His vicarious death for us all and glorious resurrection from the dead!
Our precious Saviour invites us to pray and expect an answer: "Ask and it shall be given you, seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you. For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth ' and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." (Matthew 7: 7,8)
Ask our heavenly Father in His dear Son's name to cleanse you from all sin, fear, oppression, bitterness, unforgiveness and worry through His BLOOD that was shed for us all on Golgatha so many yeas ago. Then approach Him in humility and faith for an answer to your desperate physical needs as well.
Agree with us  according to Matthew 18: 19 for your deliverance from all sickness, disease and pain, in Jesus' Name! Amen.

Hell is too good for the Devil. He's going to the Lake of Fire!!! - Pastor Max Solbrekken

                                    By Pastor Max Solbrekken, D.D.
"And the devil that deceived them shall be cast into the lake with fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever." (Rev. 20:10)

LUCIFER was an archangel together with Michael and Gabriel but the SIN of pride and lust for power and worship entered his heart. He was a created being who committed HIGH TREASON  and led a disastrous rebellion against Almighty God.

The Traitor was cast out of Heaven together with the angels who had aligned themselves with him. SIN brings cruel and drastic changes in a life and so it was with Lucifer and his rebel followers. Gone was the purity and goodness that had crowned their existence and instead  filth, perversion, hated and murder flooded their minds and beings.

Jesus Christ called the Devil a liar, murderer and the god of filth. He called him Satan, the poser, enemy and adversary. He called him the Devil, the false accuser, slanderer, and liar. He called him Beelzebub, the god of flies.

Holy Scripture calls him the Tempter, Serpent and Beliel which means 'worthless'! What a tragedy! And all those years since his tragic fall, Lucifer has been the instigator of all that is evil, destructive and unholy. His rebellion has caused more wars, more pain and death and more heartbreak than anything else that has upset the dignity and well being of the human race!

SOON, however, our precious Lord Jesus Christ will descend from Heaven with the voice of the Archangel and the trump of God, to rapture His Church and judge the quick and the dead! And he will find himself throughout eternity, without amnesty, in the Lake which burneth with fire and brimstone forever and ever, Amen.

  Rev Jack & Maureen Super
 House of Prayer Gospel Church
on Hiway 623 south of New Sarepta, AB

             By Pastor Max Solbrekken, D.D.
“Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife: and some of good will. The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds: But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the DEFENCE of the Gospel.” (Phi.1: 17).
St. Paul loved the Gospel of Christ and was willing to die for it, and eventually did. God revealed to him the ‘mystery of the gospel’ which had been hidden since the beginning of time. It is no wonder that he called it “my gospel”.  That does not mean that the gospel he preached was exclusively his, only that he was  divinely chosen to bring the Gentiles into the Body of Christ! (Rom.2: 16; 2 Tim.2: 8,9; 1 Thes.1: 5,6; 2 Thes.2: 14)
“How that by revelation He made known unto me the MYSTERY … ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ; Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto His holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit. That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same Body, and partakers of His promise in Christ by the Gospel.” (Eph.3: 3-6)

“Wherefore I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfill the Word of God: Even the MYSTERY which God hath hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to His saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this MYSTERY among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the Hope of Glory.” (Col.1: 25-27)

St. Paul was a fighter for the truth. He was not a quitter and he prevailed against great odds. He was an intelligent fighter, not as one who threw wild blows, but one who strategically knew how to land the knock-out punch. He knew the dangers of taking the gospel for granted, becoming complacent, backsliding and lukewarm for Christ and His cause!

“For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: For necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is me, if I preach not the gospel. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.” (1 Cor. 9: 16, 26, 27)

Others may have been motivated by pride, jealousy or strife, but not St. Paul. He knew his calling. He knew the voice of the Holy Spirit. He had met Jesus Christ personally and had been tutored and directed by Him. He had been instructed by the Risen Saviour that beside turning Gentiles to Christ, he would testify of his Saviour’s sacrificial death and glorious resurrection, as well as suffering for His sake!

To the Temple Mob who wanted to kill him, he testified how the LORD had sent Ananias to pray for him three days after meeting the resurrected Christ on the Damascus Road: “And he said unto me, the God of our fathers has chosen thee, that thou shouldest  KNOW His will, and SEE the Just One, and shouldest HEAR the voice of His mouth. For thou shalt be His Witness...” (Acts 22: 14, 15)
At the close of his life he testified: “For I am now ready to be offered, and the time my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have KEPT THE FAITH. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord the Righteous Judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing.” (2 Tim.4: 6-8)

                  BEST DEFENCE: A STRONG OFFENCE!
Our Commander-in-Chief , Jesus Christ the Lord, gave us the greatest strategy ever used, ‘The Great Commission’. Here it is: “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

"And these Signs shall follow them that believe; In My name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; the shall lay their hands on the sick,  and they shall recover.” (Mark 16: 15-18)

The best defence is an aggressive, robust and powerful offensive forward thrust with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to shatter the enemy's  defences and to liberate the slaves that he has collected through his diabolical cunning, subterfuge and downright lies!

The Bible says: “Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist in the faith…” (1 Peter 5: 8)
Noted British preacher C.S. Spurgeon  stated: “Defend the Bible?  I would as soon defend a lion. Unchain it and it will  defend itself.”  I agree  one hundred per cent with that statement. The Bible defends itself and is its own best commentator.

Here are some statements made by leaders in various walks of life, extolling the Holy Bible:

"The Bible definitely is infallible, how else could it survive so many years of bad preaching"
Leonard Ravenhill

“Defend the Bible? I would just as soon defend a lion. Just turn the Bible loose. It will defend itself.”
Charles Spurgeon

"The Word of God well understood and religiously obeyed is the shortest route to spiritual perfection. And we must not select a few favourite passages to the exclusion of others. Nothing less than a whole Bible can make a whole Christian."
A.W. Tozer

"Here, then, is the real problem of our negligence. We fail in our duty to study God's Word not so much because it is difficult to understand, not so much because it is dull and boring, but because it is work. Our problem is not a lack of intelligence or a lack of passion. Our problem is that we are lazy."
R. C. Sproul

"One of these days some simple soul will pick up the Book of God, read it, and believe it. Then the rest of us will be embarrassed."
Leonard Ravenhill

"It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible."
George Washington

"The Bible itself is intolerant, and true followers of God's word should be as well."
Bob Jones III

"There are more sure marks of authenticity in the Bible than in any profane history."
Sir Isaac Newton

"Another century and there will not be a Bible on earth!"

"Voltaire expected that within fifty years of his lifetime there would not be one Bible in the world. His house is now a distribution center for Bibles in many languages."
Corrie Ten Boom

"Beware of reasoning about God's Word - obey it."
Oswald Chambers

"Zeal without knowledge is like a mettled horse without eyes, or like a sword in a madman's hand; and there is no knowledge where there is not the word: for if they reject the word of the Lord, and act not by that, 'What wisdom is in them?' saith the prophet (Jer 8:9; Isa 8:20)."
John Bunyan

"It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible."
George Washington

"There are more sure marks of authenticity in the Bible than in any profane history."
Sir Isaac Newton

"Peace is such a precious jewel that I would give anything for it but truth."
Matthew Henry (1662-1714)

"Though we claim to believe the whole of Scripture, in practice we frequently deny much of it by ignoring it."
D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones (1899-1981)

“Out flashed the sword of the Spirit: our Lord will fight with no other weapon. He could have spoken new revelations, but he chose to say, ‘It is written.’ There is a power in the Word of God which even the devil cannot deny.”
Charles Spurgeon

"If there is anything in my style or thoughts to commend, the credit is due to my parents for instilling in me an early love of the Scriptures. If we abide by the principles taught in the Bible, our country will go on prospering and to prosper; but if we and our posterity neglect its instructions and authority, no man can tell how sudden a catastrophe may overwhelm us and bury all our glory in profound obscurity."
Daniel Webster

"This book, sir, is the rock on which our republic rests."
Andrew Jackson

"So great is my veneration for the Bible that the earlier my children begin to read it the more confident will be my hope that they will prove useful citizens of thier country and respectable members of society. I have for many years made it a practice to read through the Bible once every year."
John Quincy Adams

"Strange that there should be men so vile as to use the pen-knife of Jehoiakim, to cut passages of the Word, because they are unpalatable. Oh ye who dislike certain portions of the Holy Writ, rest assured that your taste is corrupt, and that God will not stay for your little opinion. Your dislike is the very reason God wrote it, because you ought not to be suited; you have no right to be pleased. God wrote what you do not like; he wrote the truth."
Charles Spurgeon

"Though we claim to believe the whole of Scripture, in practice we frequently deny much of it by ignoring it."
D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones (1899-1981)

"Why would the apostles lie?... if they lied, what was their motive, what did they get out of it? What they got out of it was misunderstanding, rejection, persecution, torture, and martyrdom. Hardly a list of perk!"
Peter Kreeft

"Skeptics must provide more than alternative theories to the Resurrection; they must provide first-century evidence for those theories."
Gary Habermas

"The canon is a list of authoritative books more than it is an authoritative list of books. These documents did not receive their authority from being selected; each one was authoritative before anyone gathered them together."
Bruce Metzger

"If we are perplexed by an apparent contradiction in Scripture, it is not allowable to say, 'The author of this book is mistaken'; but either the manuscript is faulty, or the translation is wrong, or you have not understood."

"The vigour of our spiritual life will be in exact proportion to the place held by the Bible in our life and thoughts."
George Mueller

"Wherefore, forsaking the vanity of many, and their false doctrines, let us return to the word"

"In our meditation we ponder the chosen text on the strength of the promise that it has something utterly personal to say to us for this day and for our Christian life."
Dietrich Bonhoeffer

“There's no better book with which to defend the Bible than the Bible itself.”
Dwight L. Moody

By Pastor Max Solbrekken, D.D.

For quite some time I have wanted to do a commercial for Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour because He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. There is none other. He is Truth personified. He is Eternal Life. Jesus Christ is the only way to God the Father and bridge to Heaven.

Don’t let anyone fool you with their blasphemous rhetoric and deceptive assumptions. The Word of God stands the test of time and eternity and trumps all man-made ideologies!

The Holy Bible is the written Word of God - His voice to our spirit and heart – enlightening us, warning us and feeding us with Himself, the world’s Light and Eternal Life! Jesus Himself is the Living Word that was made flesh – incarnated – so that He could take our place, pay the debt we owed and redeem us for time and eternity!

Beware of Satan the Liar and Deceiver who promises everything and delivers nothing but heart break, sorrow and pain. He has been defeated eternally by the vicarious, substitutionary death of Jesus Christ the Lamb of God.

He alone purchased our deliverance from the Liar and Murderer, by shedding His pure, holy and precious blood on Calvary’s Tree and rose from the dead on the third day and poured out upon His Church the Blessed Holy Spirit bringing peace, joy and eternal LIFE! Faith and Trust in Him guarantees our Redemption and makes us Partakers of His Divine Nature!

Commercials: Do they really work? Daily, we are bombarded with intrusive, unwanted and irritating commercials over television, radio, internet, and even through the telephone! Billions of dollars are spent annually to advertise various products during special sporting and other events.

Advertisers must believe those expensive commercials will bring them new customers or they would not invest so much. Some of the commercials are in good taste, others are not! Some are truthful and some are not! We are subjected to both during an election. A good example is the extravagant, amazing and almost god-like hype of Barack Obama’s ability to govern.

While Sir Winston Churchill promised, “Nothing but, Blood, sweat and tears” and John F. Kennedy challenged, “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country”, Barack Obama was the great hero who would give Americans everything they wanted for free.

Multitudes believed him, but five years later the majority of Americans are calling him ‘Commander in Speech’ and worse ‘Liar in Chief’. America is drowning in debt, corruption and perversion!

For more than fifty years I have been a spokesman for the Lord Jesus Christ and His pure, unadulterated, unvarnished, unedited and unblemished Gospel. In His presence all pretenders to greatness, like little bugs and worms are grovelling about in the earth!

Like St. Paul, I speak forth the Word of God, in truth: "For we are not as many, which corrupt the Word of the Lord, but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ." (2 Cor. 2:17).  Amen.

Lies, lies and more lies, false prophets, gullible ignorant fat-cat preachers: Signs of the Soon Return of Jesus Christ, God's Son, Saviour who will Rapture the Church and judge the Living and the dead. It is high time to preach the Gospel of Christ in its fullness and shake the Gates of Hell and obey the Holy Scriptures that declare: "Come out from among them (false churches, teachers) and touch not the UNCLEAN thing and God will receive you." (2 Corinthians 6: 17) - Pastor Max Solbrekken

"(And remember) when Allah said: O Jesus! Lo! I am gathering you and causing you to ascend unto Me, and am cleansing you of those who disbelieve and am setting those who follow you above those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then unto Me you will (all) return, and I shall judge between you as to that wherein you used to differ. As for those who disbelieve I shall chastise them with a heavy chastisement in the world and the Hereafter; and they will have no helpers. And as for those who believe and do good works, He will pay them their wages in full. Allah loves not wrongdoers. This (which) We recite unto you is a revelation and a wise reminder." Holy Quran: A'al-Umran(3):55-58
"And because of their saying: We slew the Messiah Jesus son of Mary, Allah's messenger. They slew him not nor crucified him, but it appeared so unto them; and lo! those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture; they slew him not for certain, But Allah took him up unto Himself. Allah was ever Mighty, Wise" Holy Quran: Al-Nissa(4):157-158
"They surely disbelieve who say : Lo! Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary. The Messiah (himself) said : O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. Lo! whoso ascribes partners unto Allah, for him Allah has forbidden Paradise. His abode is the Fire. For evildoers there will be no helpers. They surely disbelieve who say: Lo! Allah is the third of three; when there is no God save the One God. If they desist not from so saying a painful doom will fall on those of them who disbelieve. Will they not rather turn unto Allah and seek forgiveness of Him? For Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. The Messiah, son of Mary, was no other than a messenger, messengers (the like of whom) had passed away before him. And his mother was a saintly woman. They both used to eat (earthly) food. See how we make the revelations clear for them, and see how they are turned away!" Holy Quran: Al-Maidah(5):72-75.

                JESUS CHRIST IS TRUE
                 GOD & ETERNAL LIFE!
                                         By Pastor Max Solbrekken, D.D.
All who deny that Jesus is true God and Eternal Life are liars and blasphemers! St. John stated: "I have not written unto you because ye know not the TRUTH, but because ye know it, and that no LIE is of the truth. Who is a LIAR but he that denieth that JESUS is the Christ? He is ANTICHRIST that denieth the FATHER and the SON. Whoso denieth the SON, the same hath not the FATHER: but he that acknowledgeth the SON hath the Father also." (1 John 2:21-23)
In His High Priestly prayer, our precious Lord said: "And this is Life Eternal, that they might know THEE (Jehovah) the ONLY true God, and Jesus Christ, Whom Thou hast sent. That they all may be one: as Thou Father, art in Me, and I in Thee, that they also may be one in US: that the world may believe that Thou has sent Me." (John 17: 3)
St. Paul, who was confronted personally by the Lord of Heaven on the Damascus Road and became the greatest missionary and theologian the world has known, declared: "If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha." (1 Corinthians 16: 22)
The word Anathama (suspended) means that the curse as well as a blessing will operate in Christs Kingdom and rises to its highest power at Christ's coming. He will come not only to bless His own but to bring a curse upon Christ rejectors.
Anathema was the religious curse of the Hebrews and  used as a church censure, final excommunication. Maranatha is Aramaic as an imperative: marana-tha meaning 'Our Lord come' or as an indacitive: maran-atha, meaning .our Lord is come'. - anon.
Some theologians wonder why St. Paul inserted, without translation, an Aramaic formula in a letter written in Greek to Corinth, where Aramaic was not current.
Maranatha was a fixed and widely circulated formula and undoubtedly a key expression in the liturgy of the Primitive Church in Palestine, and from there it was incorporated into Greek Christendom  without translation similar to 'Amen' and 'Hosanna'.
In short, Anathama Maranatha is an 'Exclamation of the Approaching Divine Judgment of God' which will be executed upon Christ's Return!
                      ALMIGHTY GOD, OUR LORD
                           JESUS CHRIST  SAID:
  • Moses wrote of Me. (John 5:45; Gen.3:15, Duet:15)
  • “I am the living bread.” (John 6:51)
  • “I am the light of the world.” (John 8:12)
  • “Before Abraham was I AM.” (John 8:58)
  • “I am the door.” (John 10:9)
  • “I am the Good Shepherd.” (John 10:11)
  • “I am the resurrection and the life.” (John 11:25)
  • “I am the way, the truth and the life.” (John 14:6
  • “I am the true vine” (John 15:1)
  • “I am the Alpha and Omega.”  (Rev.1:7,8)

He preaches Sin black, Hell hot, eternity forever and God's Mercy umfathomable. He doesn't pull any punches but tells it like it is. He believes the Bible from cover to cover. He trusts Moses over Darwin, Jehovah over Allah, Luther over the Pope and Jesus over Buddha.
He believes that prayer moves the hand of God and that miracles of forgiveness, freedom from guilt and divine healing for spirit, soul and body are available  through the atoning work of Jesus Christ on Calvary's Cross!
He believes that Jesus Christ is True God from Eternity, being incarnated (God in human flesh) and true God, born of the virgin Mary. He believes that Jesus Christ arose from the dead on the third day and through His vicarious death and glorious resurrection He has purchased eternal life for every human being who will receive him as personal Saviour and follow Him as Lord!

In 1970, CBC TV called Max Solbrekken 'Canada's Old Style Preacher Man'. After an interview the Porsgrunn Telemark Newspaper in Norway  carried a full-page report with the large headline: 'Max Solbrekken is a Messenger Boy for Jesus'.
"Of all the things the press has written about me during the past 50 years", says the Preacher. "I believe that statement has characterized my ministry the best. I have always felt that it is an honour and privilege to work for Him. Amen."
