CHRIST HAS CONQUORED SATAN

"And the seventy returned again with Joy, saying, Lord, even the Devils are subject to us through Thy Name. And He said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from Heaven. Behold, I give unto you power...over ALL the power of enemy: And nothing shall by any means hurt you." (Luke 10:17-19)
The genocidal, demon inspired and unbelievable evil killing of Jews, decapitating the heads of little babies, raping women, and taking hostage several hundred Israelis by HAMAS on October 7, 2023 came as a shock to many.
What does the Hebrew word Hamas mean? The Hebrew word hamas is a noun meaning an act of aggression, but especially involving physical contact. Hamas was founded in 1987; however the biblical word ‘hamas’ or ‘violence’ reaches back to the earliest chapters of Genesis and is one of the significant reasons for Noah's flood.
How can anyone forget the almost apocalyptic beheading of twenty-one Egyptian Christians by hate-filled, demon possessed Islamic Terrorists - following in the steps of their genocidal seventh-century leader - almost makes any normal person sick!
"They are not human; worse than beasts", you say! Yet, the Bible says that God loves them, and Jesus died for their sins, as evil as they are. By looking at their eyes you see what happens when the devil takes control of a soul! Pray for their salvation!
Remember that Saul of Tarsus was a Jewish Terrorist who killed believers in Yeshua Ha Maschiach (Jesus the Messiah) and how Jesus changed him! He changed his name to Paul and under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, wrote nearly one-half of the New Testament! Can these evil men change? Yes! With God all things are possible! (Mark 9: 23; 10:27)
Having said that, "Would you want these inflamed criminals, who have innocent blood on their hands living in your neighbourhood? To be free to molest, rape and brainwash your children and take over the country?" I think not!
These barbarians are taught from early childhood to hate, rape and murder defenseless people who do not bow their heads to the ground in worship to their 'moon god'. They are slaves to a politically dangerous system of cruelty and inhumanity!
Yet, as children of God and believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, we are commanded to love them, pray for them and to win them for Christ and His Kingdom.
JESUS CAME TO SAVE SINNERS!
The Good News is that Jesus Christ came into the world to "seek and to save that which was lost." (Luke 19:10) He didn't come for the righteous, but He came for sinners. The Holy Bible states: "All have sinned and fallen short of the Kingdom of God." (Rom. 3:23) That includes us all, no exceptions!
The Scriptures declare: "God hath concluded all under sin", so that we are all guilty and without excuse: “…That every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.” (Rom. 3: 19). Again, St Paul writes: "The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Rom. 6: 23)
We are saved by Grace alone, through Faith alone, and in Christ alone! It is not by works of righteousness, but by His grace that we are saved. (Eph. 2: 8, 9). Christ alone suffered, bled and died for our sins to bring us to God.
The Bible says: "Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation (satisfaction,) through faith in His BLOOD, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are passed, through the forbearance of God;
"To declare, I say at this time His righteousness: that He might be just, and the justifier of Him which believeth in Jesus." (Rom. 3: 24-26). The Sovereignty of God demanded punishment for SIN and the CROSS provided the FINAL SOLUTION.
For four thousand years, God, in His great mercy and kindness allowed the sacrifice of innocent lambs, goats and bullocks (occasionally a red heifer) to suffice.
When the ‘fullness of time’ had come, Almighty God gave Himself in His SON, to be the propitiation for our sins. The word propitiation means the covering, satisfaction and expiation. The only RIGHTEOUS ONE, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, had to die to cover our sins and satisfy the demands of Divine Justice!
Our righteous, just and merciful God had to bring judgment upon all sinners through the VICARIOUS death of a righteous man. No man could qualify for all are born in sin, therefore He had to pay the sin debt Himself.
The INCARNATION of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, settled the sin question for time and eternity, through His sacrificial death on Golgotha!
BORN TO DIE IN OUR PLACE!
That is why Jesus of Nazareth had to be crucified. He was born to die; to be crucified in order to pay the sin debt for all unrighteous humanity, to meet the demands of Divine Justice for our awful sins against the Almighty.
This is possibly the Bible’s greatest verse: "He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” (Rom. 8:32)
In 1978, I was preaching in Ghana, Africa in a large Gospel Crusade. I became very homesick. I could not eat their food. The netting around my bed was broken and since I had forgotten to take my anti-malaria pills, I didn't get much sleep.
I was very unhappy even though we were seeing many souls come to Christ and powerful miracles were taking place. I was studying Romans when suddenly it jumped out at me with such force that I was shocked. Our Heavenly Father let me know what it cost Him to provide the Great Salvation that I was proclaiming so freely!
JESUS WAS SMITTEN OF GOD!
I had read that verse many times but never fully understood it. I was torn to pieces as I saw how the Father had ‘TURNED OVER’ His only begotten Son to murderers who would mock Him, spit in His face, scourge Him and nail Him to the Cross of shame for us.
wondered how He could do that, as I personally would never allow anyone to harm my wife or children. Only over my dead body, would anyone molest, rape or kill my family!
Then He took me to Isaiah: "Surely He hath borne our sicknesses (heb. makob ) and carried our pains (heb.nasa): yet we did esteem Him stricken, SMITTEN OF GOD and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him and with His stripes we are healed.
"All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath LAID UPON HIM the iniquity of us all. Yet it pleased to BRUISE HIM; He hath put HIM TO GRIEF..." (Isaiah 53: 4-6, 10)
God the Father laid our sins, sicknesses and pains on His Son. It was God the Father Who smote His Son for us, and what really tore me up was that God was pleased when Jesus suffered, bled and died for us! I prayed and wept for several days after God had spoken to me!
Shortly after that crusade, God opened the door to ARGENTINA. No crusades were held there because of the Military Rule, but God opened the door for Omar Cabrera and me to reach Cordova for Christ. The Lord opened the door for us and the authorities stated that they would allow the Canadian preacher to conduct a Crusade in the Stadium.
Great Miracles happened every evening and the crowd grew to 48,000 on May 15, 1978. Omar Cabrera then continued the Crusades, and his Cordova Church grew from zero to 8,000 in 9 months and within 18 months, Vision de Futuro had 150 churches with 450 pastors.
Then, Carlos Anaconda got saved and began to preach and the rest is history as he and others have reached several millions.
I SPOKE TO THE MILITARY!
Interestingly, when Omar contacted me his heart was to go to Paraguay, but that wasn't working out. The Holy Spirit put Argentina on my heart. Omar had been forced to leave his country when his name was found on a Rebel hit list. He said he was finished with Argentina and would never return, but I was adamant that we should hold the crusade there. Finally, Omar said: "Okay, we'll try Cordova."
We started with six thousand in attendance the first night. By the fourth night we had 10,000 and the Chief of Police finally came back to town and signed the permit. The Roman Catholic Church which had opposed the Crusade, lost control over their people. Nuns and priests attended openly rejoicing in the great things which God did and carrying their tape recorders to get the messages I brought!
I had requested a meeting with the Military Junta and demanded that they stop their persecution of the Evangelicals and Pentecostals to which they agreed. From that day onward the persecution stopped, and the Revival steam rolled ahead.
After preaching to the four Colonels for 20 minutes about God and the Devil, Heaven and Hell, the Cross and the Blood of Christ, the leading COLONEL said loudly, "What do you want from us?" I said: "Stop persecuting the Evangelicals and the Pentecostals!" He said: "O.K. What else do you want?"
I answered: "Get down on your knees and give your hearts to the Lord." They were shocked. Omar let out a big laugh, I smiled, and they relaxed. I said: "I would like to pray for you and your families.” Immediately, he said: "Yes, please do." After prayer, thy all shook my hand and told me about the good things they had heard about the crusade.
That is how the official persecution stopped and how the REVIVAL started in Argentina in May, 1978. Praise the Lord!
GO INTO ALL THE WORLD!
This Gospel is for ALL people of ALL the world including the Muslim World! Jesus Christ commanded: "Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved ...." (Mark 16: 15-20)
King David prophesied: "The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against His ANOINTED, saying, Let us break the bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. (Psalms 2: 2, 3)
The Apostles prayed, quoting David: "For a truth against Thy Holy Child Jesus, whom Thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together, for to do whatsoever Thy hand and Thy counsel determined before to be done." (Acts 4:25-28)
The whole world was involved in carrying out the will of God in the sacrificial death of Christ for us all. King Herod, Pontius Pilate, the Gentiles, and Israel is a representation of the Entire World that stands guilty in the SIN of crucifying the Son of God!
And the entire world is invited to receive God's forgiveness, peace, healing, blessing and deliverance which has been purchased for us all through the shed BLOOD of Jesus Christ our Lord and His glorious resurrection from the dead!
The Bible says: "Looking for that blessed HOPE and the glorious appearance of the Great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ Who GAVE HIMSELF for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works." (Titus 2:13, 14)
"But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
"Which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; that being justified by His GRACE, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life." (Titus 3: 4-7) All glory to God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen!
Is God able to save and fill with His Holy Spirit, the tough, evil, perverted Muslim terrorists? Read Acts chapters 9, 22 and 28. If He can reach a Jewish terrorist He can reach a Muslim terrorist! Nothing is too hard for our God!
A GREAT MIRACLE IN NORWAY!
In late August, 2001, I was preaching in a small town in Norway and learned about a refugee camp where hundreds of Muslim refugees from the Kosovo War were being housed. I asked if anyone was reaching them with the love of Christ. They answered, “No”.
I challenged the pastor’s wife who was teaching them Norwegian, to invite them to our Revival Meeting. She answered that it was against the new school rules to talk to students about Jesus! I countered: “St. Peter said, ‘We ought to obey God rather than man’. It seems rather strange to me that a Pentecostal Pastor’s wife would not have the courage to obey God rather than rules put in place by some political person.”
She said: “O.K. I will ask them.” She did and eight people accepted. The Pastor picked them up and brought them to the meeting. All received Jesus Christ as their Saviour and since August 2001 until now that Church has baptized more than 1,000 Muslims to Jesus Christ.
The Holy Bible says: “This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be Saved, and to come to the knowledge of the Truth. For there is ONE GOD, and one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus: Who gave Himself a ransom for ALL, to be testified in due time.” (1 Tim. 2: 3-6)
THE BLOOD OF CHRIST AVAILS!
The hymn writer penned the life-giving words: “The Blood avails, the Blood of the Bleeding Lamb. Just like in Olden Days, Praise God the Blood avails!” The Cross of Christ has been referred to as the 'Axis of Salvation' and the climax of the cosmic conflict between God and Satan, between good and evil on Golgotha.
What happened there on the 14th of Abib in ca. 33 A.D. forever marked our Heavenly Father as the God of Majesty and Power, of Compassion and Love, of Righteousness and Justice!
Early that morning the stage had been set for the 'Greatest Transfer of Mercy and Grace', ever known in the universe, and will endure throughout Eternity. Adam had committed gross sin against his Father and God and had been ejected from the Garden of Gethsemane. God the Son had been incarnated to die as God's Paschal Lamb to liberate the human race from sin, sickness and the devil!
At 9:00 o' clock on the great Day of Atonement the high priest tied the paschal lamb to the Altar in the temple. At that very hour, Jesus the Lamb of God, was nailed to the Cross on Golgotha. For six hours they both waited for death. At 3:00 o'clock, the high priest, having transferred the sins of Israel onto the head of paschal lamb, cut it's juggler slaying it.
At precisely the same moment, Earth's great High Priest tore the veil from top to bottom and LEFT the temple. Instantaneously, He stood on Golgotha's Hill and laid the SINS OF THE WORLD on the head of His Son. At that moment Jesus shouted His Victory Cry, “It is Finished.” (John 19:30)
Jesus spoke in Greek, saying, Tet-el-estai, taken from the Greek verb teleo which has three essential meanings: to finish something, to bring something to an end; to fulfill something; to pay that which is owed.”
Jesus had finished His mission and brought to an end Satan's domination over the human race. He had fulfilled all the O.T. prophecies about the Messiah and paid for all our sins, sicknesses and pains! The fountain was open, His blood was flowing and there is no longer any need for the Holy of Holies or the blood of bulls and goats!
“And the sun was darkened, and veil of the temple was rent in the midst. And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, He said, Father, into Thy hands I commend My spirit: and having said thus, He gave up the ghost.” (Luke 23:45, 46)
He had purchased Eternal Life for all who would receive Him as their Lord and Saviour! The Bible says: “And He (Jesus Christ) is the propitiation (God is satisfied with Christ's Sacrifice)for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the WHOLE WORLD.” (1 John 2:2)
That takes in everyone from all the nations of the world, including the Mohammedans, Hindus, Buddhists, Communists, Jews, Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses and Christians!
Clearly stated, there is but ONE God and Father, and ONE Lord Jesus Christ Who is both Creator and Sustainer of the world and sole Saviour and Redeemer of the human race, and ONE Blessed Holy Spirit who draws all men to Christ.
All other so-called gods, goddesses and deities are mere counterfeits, imitators and pretenders! It is Christ and Christ alone who saves, heals, delivers and liberates from sin, fear, sickness, disease and all the powers of Darkness and Satan!
Praise the Lord forever and ever! Hallelujah and Amen.
Satan is a liar, a thief, and a killer. He is the original Sinner, Deceiver, Murderer and God hater. He is called the Devil which means Liar. The word Satan means enemy or opposer. He is the Enemy of God and man!
Jesus Christ said, “He was a Murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth because there is No truth in him. When he speaketh a Lie, he speaketh of his own, for he is a Liar, and the father of it.” (John 8:44).
He deceived our first parents, encouraging them to sin against their Creator, thereby bringing death and destruction upon the entire human race! “And the serpent said unto the woman, ye shall not surely die, for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
“And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desired to make one wise she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also to her husband with her; and he did eat.” (Gen. 3:4-6)
THE SERPENT’S HEAD CRUSHED!
Through His vicarious DEATH for us on the Cross, Jesus Christ fulfilled Almighty God’s judgment against Lucifer: “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her SEED. It shall bruise (crush) thy head and thou shalt bruise His heel.” (Genesis 3:15)
This is the law of the first mention of the Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ, by which He was declared God the Son, and therefore SINLESS. Through His substitutionary death, Jesus met the righteous demands of Divine Justice against lost humanity. All the sins of mankind from Adam until Christ’s Return have been paid for, but only those who desire Him and come through repentance and faith receive God’s Pardon through Jesus Christ our Lord!
Jesus said: “And the seventy returned again with JOY, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through Thy Name. And He said unto them, I beheld SATAN, as lightening fall from Heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the Enemy.” (Luke 10: 17,18)
“When the even was come, they brought unto Him many that were possessed with devils: and He cast out the spirits with His Word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses.” (Matt. 8:16,17)
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power; who went about doing good and healing all who were OPPRESSED of the devil for God was with Him.” (Acts 10:38)
JESUS’ BLOOD CLEANSES ALL SINS!
St. John wrote: “And these things I write unto you that your joy might be full. This then is the message which we have heard of Him and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth;
“But if we walk in the light, as He is in the Light, we have fellowship one with another, and the BLOOD of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all SIN. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we CONFESS our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
“My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous: And He is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
“Again, a new commandment I write unto you which thing is true in Him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the True Light now shineth.” (1 John 1:4-10; 2:1,2)
St. Paul writes: “According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love; having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will to the praise of the glory of His grace, whereas He hath made us accepted in the Beloved.
“In whom we have Redemption through His Blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace; wherein He hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; having made known unto us the MYSTERY of His will, according to His good pleasure which He hath purposed in Himself. In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of Him who worketh all things after the counsel of His own will.
“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the Word of Truth, the Gospel of your salvation; in whom after that ye believed, ye were SEALED with that Holy Spirit of Promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the purchased possession, unto the praise of His glory.” (Ephesians 1: 4-14)
IN CHRIST NO CONDEMNATION!
“There is therefore now No Condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus hath made me FREE from the law of sin and death.” (Romans 8: 1,2)
The Bible says: “Ye shall know the truth and the Truth shall make you free. Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house forever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you Free, ye shall be Free indeed.” (John 8: 32-36)
Jesus Christ stated: “Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you Rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matt. 11:28-30)
“All that the Father giveth Me shall come to Me and him that cometh to Me, I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from Heaven, not to do Mine own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. And this is the Father’s will which hath sent Me, that of all He hath given Me I should lose nothing but should raise it up at the last day.
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on Me hath everlasting life. I am the Bread of Life.” (John 8: 37-40; 47, 48)
Our Lord said: “Peace I give unto you. My PEACE I leave with you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14: 27).
POWER, LOVE, SOUND MIND!
Writing to young Timothy, St. Paul reminded him of the call of God he had received by the ‘laying on of his hands’. He must not be ashamed, but be strong and not fearful because God would use him:
“Be not ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God, who hath Saved us, and Called us with an holy calling not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
“But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.” (2 Tim. 1: 8-10, 13, 14)
Here is the profound formula for spiritual, mental, and physical wellness which St. Paul lived by, and gave to a young and fearful Timothy: “For God hath not given us the spirit of Fear but of Power and of Love and a sound Mind.” (2 Timothy 1: 7).
The Devil uses fear, condemnation, and anxiety to steal, kill and destroy! It is a potent weapon in his hands. Fear is a destructive, negative, and evil force that can cripple a person who does not recognize it as such. St. Paul made it clear that God is not the author of Fear.
God gives us Love because He is pure LOVE. Through His amazing love, He gave us the amazing Gift of Eternal Life though the substitutional, vicarious Death of His Son Jesus Christ on Mount Calvary! Nothing is greater than Love:
“And now abideth faith, hope, charity (agape love), these three: but the greatest of these is charity.” (1 Cor. 13:13). Jesus does not give Fear. He gives us Power over fear. He gives us His Love and with it comes Peace!
Our Lord said: “Peace I give unto you. My PEACE I leave with you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14: 27).
YOU CAN TRUST JESUS!
He loves us all with an amazing love that supersedes any earthly love. It is agape love directly from His heart to ours! The Bible states: “For God so loved the world that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” (John 3: 16,17)
“Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your request be known unto God and the Peace of God which passeth all understanding flood your hearts and mind through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4: 5-7)
“Strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness. Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light; who hath delivered us from the power of darkness and hath translated us into the Kingdom of His dear Son: In whom we have Redemption through His Blood, even the forgiveness of sins.
“And having made PEACE through the Blood of His Cross, by Him, I say to reconcile all things unto Himself; by Him, I say whether they be things in earth, or things in Heaven.” (Colossians 1:13,20);
“Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out if the way, nailing it to the Cross. And having SPOILED principalities and powers, He made a show of then openly, triumphing over them in it.” (Colossians 2: 14,15)
CHRIST SPOILED SATAN’S KINGDOM!
St. Paul compares Jesus Christ’s victorious death and resurrection to a great king returning to his capital city with his army following in their chariots and the streets lined with people welcoming him home. With his hands tied to a leash and almost naked, the enemy king is running behind the King’s Chariot, in which lays his crown and armour!
Satan’s kingdom was shaken and the whole world was shaken, by Christ’s glorious and eternal Victory on Golgotha. The empty tomb of Jesus still removes all fear of death for believers in our precious Lord and Saviour!
The Apostle declares: “That I might know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death, if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. I PRESS toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3: 10,11.14)
“Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross; and having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” (Col. 2: 14,15)
The Bible says: “For this Purpose the Son of God was manifested that He might DESTROY the works of the Devil.” (1 John 3:8). Jesus said, “…They that be whole need not a physician but they that are sick…for I am not come to all the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” (Matthew 9: 12,13)
“And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, and Healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
“But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with Compassion on them, because they fainted and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then sayeth He unto His disciples, The Harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; pray ye therefore the Lord of the Harvest, that He will send forth labourers into His harvest.” (Matthew 9: 35-38).
Jesus is still moved with compassion for the multitudes who still sin heathen darkness. He still invites: “Come NOW, and let is reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red as crimson, they shall be as wool.” (Isaiah 1:18).
“Behold, I stand at the door (hearts’ door) and knock; if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me.” (Revelation 3:20).Amen.
OUR HOPE CHRIST’S RETURN!
St. Paul stated: “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world:
"Looking for that blessed HOPE, and the glorious appearance of Jesus Christ, who Gave Himself for us, that He might Redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar (purchased) people, zealous of good works.” (Titus 2:11-14)
“And this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness and them shall the end come. For as the lightning cometh out of the east. And shineth even unto the west, so shall also the Coming of the Lord be. Watch therefore: for ye know not hour your Lord doth come.
“But know this that if the good man of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched. And would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore, be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of Man cometh.” (Matt. 24: 14, 27, 42-44)
HE HEARD ME & DELIVERED ME!
The psalmist wrote: “I will bless the Lord at all time: His praise will continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt His name together. I sought the Lord and He heard me and delivered me from all my fears.
“This poor man cried, and the Lord heard Him, and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him and delivereth them. O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in Him.
“The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry. The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
“The Lord is nigh unto them that ate of a broken spirit; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delliereth him out of them all.” (Psalms 34: 1-19). Amen.
