MY TRIBUTE TO NEVA MERESTY                                                     By Pastor Max Solbrekken, D.D.

Pastor Frank & Neva Meresty, Max Solbrekken, Camrose TV

"But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them that are asleep, that ye sorrow not even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. For this we say by the Word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord  Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:  and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds and so shall ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words."
           -   1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18

Hello Sandra Fiddler,

Here are a few words to express my thoughts on the passing of your precious mother Neva Maresty. She was a genuine Christian with a testimony that is known far and wide. I am deeply sorry that I was unable to be with you at this very special event. When your brother Ron passed away I had the privilege of conducting his funeral and when Neva's beloved husband Frank passed away I gladly accepted her invitation to be used by the Lord to say the final words over him.

I feel so close to the entire Meresty Family because it was through God sending Neva to our Church in Edmonton and her great salvation and healing through Jesus Christ at that time, that the whole family was brought to the Lord. And  God only knows the great numbers  of others that were reached for our Saviour by Frank and Neva and members of their family since Neva's supernatural experience of Salvation and Divine Healing! May the blessing of God be upon your service and upon her very large family.May this be a time for everyone present to dedicate their lives to our Saviour Jesus Christ.

And now, may the GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ, the LOVE of God the Father and the fellowship and COMMUNION of the Holy Ghost be with you all until Jesus comes. Amen.

Your friend in Christ,
Pastor Max Solbrekken
