of poets, the sculptures and paintings of 'men of art,' the rhetoric of dictators, the
unscientific, manufactured and sometimes deliberately fabricated lies of
evolutionists, the archaeological, astronomical and nuclear findings of 'men of
Science,' the journals of medical men, explorers and adventurers, together with
the text books of both true and false theologians and religious men may be
around for centuries and perhaps as long as this world stands.
The
Holy Bible, however, will outlive and outlast them all, because the Holy
Bible is the Divine Word of God and will continue to exist for both time and

PREFACE
Water Baptism is practiced by different
Faiths and Religious organizations around the World. Various modes and methods
are used to administer this sacrament to the applicant and also various
interpretations are placed on the meaning of the word baptism and what it
represents.
It is not the purpose of this book to convert anyone
over to the views and doctrines of a certain Church organization, Denomination
or Religious Order, but rather to present the clear teachings of the Holy
Scriptures in the matter of Water Baptism!
I am not concerned about what religious men have to
say about baptism, but I am vitally interested in what Jesus Christ had to say on the subject. Many gifted men have
written articles and books on the subject of Water Baptism and other Bible Doctrines. These may be good and fine
but they will never take the place of Christ's Doctrines and teachings. Men can
make mistakes, but Jesus Christ is never wrong! He is The Way, Truth and Life.
(John 14:6)
The Roman Pope, Joseph Smith, Judge Rutherford,
Mary Baker Eddy, Martin Luther,
the Archbishop of Canterbury, and
other writers could have made mistakes and many did, but God's Word, the Holy
Bible is perfect, divine, authoritative, pure and void of error!
The Book of Mormon, Koran, Roman Missile and Prayer
Books, Watch Tower
Therefore, in this message I present the
words of Jesus: Not the words of a Religious Ruler, Holy
Man or Pope, but rather the words of the Son of God Who alone lived an
infallible and perfect life before meeting the demands of Divine Justice on
Calvary’s cross to purchase Eternal Life for all who believe on Him and by
faith accept His pardon and cleansing for their sins.
I do not teach from the writings of men, but from the doctrines of Jesus
Christ, as found in the ‘Book of Books’, the Holy Bible. As you read these lines, do so with an open heart and
mind. Throw aside all preconceived ideas, traditions of men, dogmas and
ritualistic beliefs you have formed in your mind regarding Water Baptism, and allow me to share with you with some
straightforward Bible truths on the subject!
THE GREAT COMMISSION:
GIVEN BY JESUS TO THE CHURCH!
Just
before Jesus Christ ascended into Heaven and sat down at the Right Hand of the
Majesty on High, He appeared to the Eleven Disciples and gave them final
instructions concerning the work they had to do and the future ministry of
those who would believe on Him.
The Bible states: "And He said unto them, go ye into all the world, and preach the
Gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved: but
he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that
believe:
“In my Name shall they cast out devils. In My Name shall they speak with
new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing it
shall not hurt them; They shall lay their hands on the sick and they shall
recover." (Mark 16:15-18)
The charge that Jesus gave His disciples is commonly
known as the ‘Great Commission’. In
this Commission, which sets forth the ministry of the Church from the Day of
Pentecost until the Rapture, Water
Baptism plays a very important and vital role. Jesus defines Salvation in
very clear words: "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved. He
that believeth not shall be damned."
Then, He reveals
the power of the Gospel, by identifying the exploits that Believers would do in
His Name. His promise majors on the supernatural aspect of the Gospel like miracles
of deliverance, exorcising evil spirits, protection against venomous snakes and
accidental poisoning, as well as the supernatural gift of “speaking in unknown
tongues!
Water Baptism, I repeat,
must be very important and more than that, it is necessary because Jesus included
it in His Great Commission: "He that believeth and is baptized shall be
saved. He that believeth not shall be
damned."
GREAT LIGHTHOUSE OF TRUTH
In Matt. 28: 18-20, we read another account of Jesus'
last words to His disciples in the Great Commission: "And Jesus came and
spake unto them saying, All Power is given unto Me in Heaven and in Earth. Go
Ye therefore and teach all Nations, baptizing
them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and The Holy Ghost: teaching
them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo I am with
you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen".
In giving His disciples their charge,
Jesus commanded them not only to, “Go into all the world to teach” but also to baptize those who would believe. Thank
God for the clarity of Jesus' Words in this matter also!
The Word of God is steadfast, unchanging, immutable,
inerrant and life-giving! You can depend upon His Word, and this book is based
entirely on God’s revelation to man, the Holy Bible. It is indeed the ‘Great
Lighthouse of Truth’ that brings salvation to lost humanity! Open your heart to
Jesus Christ. Believe His Word and you will be safe!

The Doctors said she would eventually become a vegetable after the tragic accident that almost took her life 21 years ago. She contemplated suicide because the unbearable pain would not go away. I Desperately Needed a Miracle. Pastor Max Solbrekken
prayed for me. The Pain Stopped, my Body Shook into Normal and I was Healed!

October 23/1991 I was
driving my children to school. I had just dropped my two younger daughters off
at their school and was heading down Yale Rd in Chilliwack BC. We had just
moved to BC 6 weeks earlier from Winnipeg MB. And I was looking forward to my
new PT job at Costco in Surrey BC.
As I stopped just
past the light on Yale and Hocking to drop my oldest daughter off at her school
I saw bright lights coming at me from the rear view mirror. Tara was struggling
with her seat belt so I reached over to release it for her, as the
Monster truck on huge tires was coming up behind me faster than it should have. I pushed Tara out of the car saying,
"Hurry, there's a truck behind me ."
The light was red so
he should have stopped giving me time to get going but he slammed into my rear
end then proceeded to crunch over my Chevette like an accordion as I was
pushing Tara out. She did not even have time to close her door before impact.
So I had no time to accelerate to get out of its way. Within seconds I was
pinned in my car being thrown in every direction. Tara stood there in horror as
the truck crushed my car pinning me inside.
Two guys from the Super Save gas station across the street ran to my aid and detained the guy who hit me, from leaving the scene of the accident. They rushed me to Chilliwack hospital 6 blocks away.
The Doctors were checking me over. Examining my body. But I don't remember any of what they said or did at that time. Except that I had massive soft muscle damage. And a possible closed head injury. My next memory was of extreme pain. I could not walk more than 2-3 feet without collapsing on the floor. For the next 2 years I was completely bed ridden, getting up only to try to reach the bathroom and back. Home support workers tended to me and my children during this time, as my husband had walked out on us.

Slowly I began trying to walk a few more feet at a time. My hip would snap out of place after a few steps and I could not walk any farther but daily I tried to make it a couple steps more. Doctor's visits were painful as the Doctor poked and prodded me all over checking for any improvements. He finally decided I needed to start physio therapy (2 years post MVA) so he booked me an appt at Sardis Physio clinic. After a long time of therapy (about a year and a half) and I was not healing. So they said I needed an MRI done to see why my body was not healing properly.
They found I had 4 ruptured discs from L3-s1. With a crack on L5. So they had to go about changing the way they were doing things. They sent me to the Thorson Pain Clinic in Lynn Valley. Over the next several years I saw many specialists and therapists. My neurologist also sent me to another Dr who diagnosed me With Fibromyalgia.
As if I didn't have
enough on my plate. Over time I was learning to walk again and to talk without
a constant stutter. My body was in constant pain my personality did a 180
it changed from an extrovert to a total introvert. I rarely left the
house and life was no longer fun at our house for my children as my injuries
took away from doing anything that was fun together.
My body was just not
healing. I had such a hard time dealing with my pain and they were having to
change and adjust my medicines so often. Over time I became allergic to some of
the meds. At one point I was on 14 different meds from 1 to 6 pills per day. I
could not even think about my life before, working was totally out of the
picture let alone planning any activities with my children.
For many years I wanted to end my life but my Father-in-law had done that and I knew I could not do that to my children. Their lives would be even more devastated than the trauma of what we were going through already, but the devil kept trying to persuade me that my children would be better off if I could find them a good Dad so I could check out of life.

Five years post accident, I was
still a mess. But now other's lives were affected too as I tried to find
someone to love my kids so I could end my life. At times I would pray to die
because the pain was so bad. But eventually I began to learn to deal with my
life as it was. I was on pain meds everyday to help me get out of bed, to make
it through the day, and to help me sleep at night. Even sitting in one place
and standing was so hard on my spine I had to rock or sway just to mange the
pain. I was struggling to mange our daily lives.
One day my youngest daughter Crystal told me she was pregnant. She was only 15 and needed my advice. I told her that if she wanted to keep it or give it up for adoption I would stand by her either way. She chose to keep him. I named him Michael. I knew I needed to get more strength to help her raise this child I prayed that God would help us. I wanted so badly to live now to help raise this child up to live for Jesus. I was still struggling with so much pain but I had so much reason to try that much harder to overcome what our lives had become since the MVA.
I daily prayed for God to heal my body but everyday I woke up with very little if any improvements. As my children grew up and I was on my own I moved into Lynn Haven Society . It was home for elderly people and people with disabilities. I was 50 years old by this time. The Doctors said I would just have to accept that I will have pain for the rest of my life and that I had developed scoliosis from the MVA as well.
The man I was married to had passed away, and I felt like I really needed to make more changes in my life. I concentrated on getting closer to God.
Then God brought Ric into my life and I began to manage my life better. Being truly loved helped me to heal a bit better. But I longed for a pain free life. We moved from Abbotsford BC to Terrace BC to Alberta where we bought a house in New Sarepta.
I began going to the House of Prayer where Max Solbrekken
was the pastor. On Mother's Day 2014 I went up for prayer with my friend Diane
(who was injured in an MVA 2years ago) I did not want her to suffer as I have
been suffering so I suggested we go up together so Max could pray for her. He
prayed for her and then he put his hands on me to pray for my healing. Our
husbands came up behind us to pray with us and as Max was holding my head on
both sides with his hands.
I felt a power go through my body. It started moving
to my knees then back upward to my hips and spine pushing in places and pulling
in other places pushing up my rib cage and straightening my body all the while
on the outward you could see anything happening as God's Holy Spirit rocked
through my body. When Pastor Max had finished praying. I thought: " Wow
what just happened to me?" Every part of my body felt something go through
it."
I returned to my seat. My spine felt better. I was experiencing what it finally felt to feel no pain.! I lifted my shirt at the back and got Ric (my Husband) to look at it . Then I asked Diane to check it too as they both saw how deeply indented my spine was before and both agreed that it looked better. I was so excited I walked up to the front of the church to tell Pastor Max what God had done for me.
It has been 4 days since God healed my body. Four days of not one pill
entering my body. Four days of 'Praising The Lord' that I am not in pain and
not on medicine to numb me. The pain before was so bad at times that even
though we have only moved to Alberta in the past 3-4 months I have ended up in
the hospital 2 times. And they had progressed my meds to Demerol for the past 2
years. But now I can dispose of it knowing I am finally healed God is so Good.
I want the world to know that He loves them and wants to heal you too!

THE CROWD WAS
WRONG!

Below is one of the messages I preached in Arima, Trinidad during the February 1970 Black
Power Uprising. Rev. Patrick
Ryan, General Superintendent of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the West
Indies had invited me to Trinidad in the belief that we would plant a Church there.
As we had done previously, I pledged to pay the TOTAL EXPENSES for my Team and the Crusade – hotels, meals, advertising
in newspapers, on radio and TV and thousands of handbills!
The Solbrekken Evangelistic Association of
Canada also offered to underwrite Rev. Patrick Ryan’s salary for ONE YEAR so
that he could begin at once to build a congregation with all the new converts
we expected to reach!
Suddenly,
News Reports were everywhere that the Black Power Uprising had gathered a CROWD of 20,000 to 30,000 and were
marching against Dr. Eric Williams and the Government. All Caucasians (Whiteys) were staying indoors and I was
advised to do likewise. An Evangelist
by the name of David Terril (whom
I do not know) had been preaching in Trinidad, but had suddenly folded
his tent and returned to the USA.
I spoke to
the co-operating Ministers thusly: “I
did not come here to hide. I came to preach the Gospel so that a Church may be
established in Arima for the glory of God. I am not afraid of the ‘Black Power’
and the Crusade will go forward as planned.”
Rev. A.W. ROWE, District Superintendent of the PAON in Newfoundland and
Spirit filled Hutterite Pastor Terry
Miller of Manitoba had accompanied me there. Besides Patrick Ryan, we were
joined by Rev. Turnel Nelson of Woodruff,
Rev. Allister Alexander of Morvant, Rev. Marcus Roberts of Port of Spain, Rev. Timothy Brown, Assistant Supt. of the Pentecostal Assemblies and many
other Ministers.
About five
thousand people attended the premier service! Rev. Dennis White, President of the Pentecostal Bible College led
the singing. I donned my white suit which
had been tailored for me in India (1966)
at the cost of $17.00. My comment was:
“I want to be a good target should they have any plans to eliminate me.”
My message was titled: ‘POWER’~ Not Black Power,
White Power, Brown Power, Yellow Power, Money Power, Student Power, but Holy Ghost Power! It was a tremendous
meeting and no one moved a finger to oppose us as the POWER of GOD fell upon
the crowd and the Revival swept the area and continued all week with great Signs, Wonders & Miracles. Many new
souls were won for Christ’s Kingdom! Rev.
Patrick Ryan founded the Church and apparently that Church is presently one
of Trinidad’s great churches. All glory to God!
The CROWD of Black Power leftist rebels WAS WRONG and people of Trinidad &
Tobago rallied behind Prime Minister Eric Williams, and Democracy won the day!
THOU SHALT NOT
FOLLOW
A MULTITUDE TO DO
EVIL!
The Crowd
has always been wrong and is it is still wrong! The Bible has always been right
and is right today! The Word of God says: “Thou
shalt not follow a multitude to do evil.” (Ex. 23: 2) As we look back
across the pages of history we can readily see that in many instances when the
time came to make the right decision in a mob atmosphere, the CROWD WAS WRONG!
From the crowd who called for the crucifixion of
Jesus of Nazareth to the crowds who
called for the blood of the martyrs in Rome’s Coliseum in the time of Nero, to
the multitudes who hailed Adolf Hitler
as the Great Deliverer of Europe, until recent times when the Red Guards and their murderous Communist thugs rampaged through the
streets of Mainland China in a purge
of torturing, killing and brainwashing, you would have to agree that the CROWD WAS WRONG!
The Bible warns:
“Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil.” (Ex.23: 2) Better advice was never given to
mankind!
Just because others are doing certain things does not
mean that you must follow in their footsteps. To the contrary, let the Word of
God and your conscience lead you since a healthy conscience will be permeated
by the Holy Spirit to understand right from wrong!
Here is how
young minds have been perverted: In some countries, ungodly, atheistic university
academics have used their position of authority to brainwash young people’s
minds with subversive ideas that had the potential to cause them to intimidate their
leaders, disobey law and order and even kill those who disagreed with!
I WARN TODAY’S YOUTH: Do not become involved with the pot
smoking, drug taking crowd of loose living leftists of the permissive and
perverted crowd! Beware of so-called intellectuals who are filled with rage,
hatred and pride ~ They will harm you.
They will hurt you. They will do you wrong. Do not trust them!
DARE TO BE A
DANIEL!
Stand
up for Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible. Don’t let anyone deceive you. If they
do not believe in God, our Saviour Jesus Christ and His Word, you cannot afford
to believe them! Stand for truth and righteousness regardless of cost! Do not
become fearful, allow yourself to be intimidated or bought off by the
influences of unrighteousness which is overwhelmingly present in this wicked
and sinful world!
Here is a
beautiful Sunday school chorus that still thrills my soul: ‘Dare to be a Daniel, dare to stand alone,
dare to have a purpose firm and dare to make it known.’ Take a look at
Daniel’s triumph. A plan had been devised by men who hated Daniel so a decree
was made that: “If anyone should ask a
petition of any God or man for thirty days except to King Darius, he should be
cast into the Den of Lions.” (Dan. 6: 7)
Besides
being a ‘man of God’ Daniel was also the wisest and most efficient man in the
Kingdom, nor was there any fault found in him. (Dan. 6: 4) On only one point
could these wicked, hateful, heathen enemies of Daniel accuse him; the worship
he gave to the true and living God of Heaven!
Three times
a day Daniel would fall upon his face before his open window and give glory to
the Eternal God. When those who envied and hated him had laid the trap to
destroy him, found him worshipping the Lord they demanded that the new law be
carried out. And Daniel was cast into the den of lions!
Here is the truth I wish to stress:
Even though Daniel knew that the new law had been enacted, he did not deviate
from his position of a true worshipper of Almighty God. Knowing that he would
be cast into a den of lions did not deter him from his devotion to God and from
his prayer life!
SOMEONE MAY BE
THINKING:
WHY DIDN’T DANIEL
PRAY SECRETLY?
As genuine
Christians, we cannot hide our relationship to God from our fellowmen! Jesus
demands public confession from His followers. He said: “Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of Me and of My words in this
adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed,
when He cometh in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.” (Mark 8:
38)
“Whosoever shall confess Me before men, him
will I confess also before My Father which is in Heaven. But whosoever will
deny Me before men, him will I also deny before My Father which is in Heaven.”
(Matt.10: 32, 33)
Here is
Daniel’s response in the face of death: “Now
when Daniel knew the writing was signed, he went into his house, and his window
being opened in his chamber, towards Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three
times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.”
(Dan.6:10)
My prayer is: “O’ God, let the uncompromising
loyalty of Daniel in the face of so great a danger be an example to us today in
our Christian walk!”
The CROWD in Babylon obeyed the King’s decree, but Daniel stood alone
and God vindicated him. There is a saying: When in Rome do as the Romans do, but I say to you ~ Live as a true Christian everywhere and
also in Rome; Never compromise your stand for Christ regardless what others do!
The crowd will take the road of least
resistance. The crowd will take the broad downward road. The crowd will always
compromise the truth and look for some way to cut corners. The crowd hates the
teachings of Jesus Christ and despises the straight and narrow way of the
Gospel! The crowd is deceived by the allurement of the world, the flesh and the
devil and has been made captive by the Wicked One “at his will.” The crowd has been blinded by the lust of the
eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life! (2 Tim.2: 26; 1 John 2:
15-18; John 12: 40)
Some time ago a major advertising company
used this slogan, ‘MILLIONS CAN’T BE WRONG’. The inference was that because
millions of people purchased their product that was proof that their product
was the best and that the crowd was right! Let me give you a Scriptures that
disproves that theory: “There is a way
that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”
(Prov.16: 25)
It may
seem like the right thing to do to follow the crowds, fads and temperaments of
society, but in order to be a strong and effective Christian in God’s Kingdom
you must stand true for what you know is right.
It may seem right to do what others are
doing like lying, stealing, hating, cursing, watching pornography, smoking,
drinking alcohol, abusing drugs, gambling, frequenting discotheques, indulging
in adultery, fornication, incest, sexual perversion or committing graft and
violence through rape, abortion or murder!
If you
could, however, talk with the thousands who are dying of cancer in the lungs
due to cigarette smoking or to the multitudes of drunkards on Skid Row or to
the great numbers of victims of broken homes due to violence, criminal
activity, drunkenness, gambling or drugs you would realize that it is not smart
to follow the crowd!
Study the
life of MOSES,
the great ‘Jewish Law Giver’! The
Bible says: “By faith Moses when he was
come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; choosing
rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures
of sin for a season.” (Heb.11: 24, 25)
Moses could
have become Egypt’s Pharaoh, but turned his back on earthly majesty, pomp and
power to identify with the Hebrew slaves and the Lord God Jehovah. May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you, my

TRIBUTE TO ROBERT VANDERWELL
Bob Vanderwell will be remembered as a loving family man, an astute businessman and a fervent believer in Jesus Christ and His everlasting Gospel. In my Crusades across Canada's north I have often heard the Vanderwell name in connection with churches he has helped to build. His compassion for souls have been evident in his leadership role in the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship. My prayer is that his testimony will not be lost on the many he has reached for our Saviour. Donna and I will continue to hold up Karen and the Vanderwell Family in the days and months ahead. May God's peace continue to fill your hearts and minds until we all meet at Jesus' feet. Amen.

BLOOD:
KEY TO HEALTHY
LIVING

"Being justified freely by His grace
through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a
propitiation through FAITH in His BLOOD, to declare His righteousness
for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God."
(Rom.3: 24,25)
The BLOOD of Jesus Christ that was shed
for the sins of the world - past, present and future - on Calvary's
Cross nearly 2,000 years ago will NOT benefit us unless we have faith in His
BLOOD!
Faith in the blood of Jesus Christ
opens the door of Heaven to us by bringing instant forgiveness for our sins,
purity of heart and a freedom from guilt, condemnation and shame!
Faith in the shed BLOOD of Jesus Christ
God's Pascal Lamb, breaks the bonds of Sin, opens the Prison doors and liberates the captives held by
Satan. Faith in the blood of Jesus Christ causes the Devil to flee in terror,
destroys the shackles of servitude, opens the heart to sing, rejoice and
receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with power.
Faith in the BLOOD of Jesus destroys
evil habits of lust, greed and pride. It breaks the bondage of lying, stealing,
gambling, fornicating and carousing! It liberates the spirit from guilt and
fear of the past, present and future. It prepares the spirit for fellowship
with God and our entrance into the our eternal Home!
Faith in the BLOOD of Jesus gives us
freedom from rejection and purges our conscience from the lingering bondage of
condemnation. It brings joy, peace and rejoicing to the heart and boundless
praise to our creator and Saviour!
Faith in the BLOOD of Jesus protects us
from moral failure, spiritual bankruptcy and evil spirits of depression. It
guards our thought life and helps to have a healthy lifestyle and wards of a
host of diseases as we claim the merits of His precious blood in Christ's holy
name!
Faith in the BLOOD of Jesus will break every CURSE that has been hurled against born again believers, whether by Satanists, black and white witches, medicine men or other enemies of Christ!
In our 1992 Crusade in Truskavich Ukraine, a powerful black witch from Crimea was converted to Jesus Christ and delivered from demons. For 13 years she had been a white witch dealing in love potions, but for 5 years had practiced black witchcraft, putting curses on people resulting in death.
We asked her to find a Pentecostal Church in Crimea and seek God for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and a revival would break out there as a result. Three weeks later, a Pentecostal Minister called to tell us that the former witch had been filled with the Holy Spirit and many sinners were coming to Jesus as a result of her testimony!
The night the Black Witch was delivered from demons, Galina Sergiovana Gorbachev answered the altar call. Privately, she shared that she was the sister of Mikael Sergiovich Gorbachev. They had different mothers but the same father. Galina is the daughter of Serge and Mikael is the son of Serge Gorbachev. THE HOLY SPIRIT & THE BLOOD OF JESUS!
When Jesus Christ hung on Calvary's Cross dying for the sins
of lost humanity - past, present and future - the blessed Holy Spirit was
reconciling the world unto Himself.
As His Heavenly Father was judging Jesus of Nazareth on our
behalf, to meet the Demands of Divine Justice, the Holy Spirit was making
Salvation available for every lost soul who will receive Him as Saviour and
Lord!
St. Paul wrote: "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he
is a new creation: Old things are passed away; behold all things are become
new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus
Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation.
"That is, GOD WAS IN CHRIST, reconciling the World unto
Himself, not imputing their trespasses
unto them; and hath committed unto us the Word of Reconciliation." (2
Cor.5:17-19)
The Key: God was in Christ! This is the great work
of the cross, unseen to human eyes, known and directed by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit was in Christ reconciling, straightening out things between God and man. God the Holy Spirit, was in Christ saving the world while His Son was dying, shedding His precious
and holy Blood! Amazing Grace, Abundant Mercy, Forgiving Love, Omnipotent
Power, Omniscient Wisdom! Amen.
The Blood of Christ did not die! The Holy Spirit guarded
Jesus' body and blood while our Saviour was in Abraham's bosom in Hades. On the
Third Day He raised Jesus Christ from the grave and our LORD carried His Own
blood into the Holy of Holies in Heaven where it resides today interceding day and night for
us, together with our Saviour!
The Holy Spirit lives in and works out from the Precious
Blood of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! That is why we can sing:
What can wash away my sins?
Nothing but the Blood of Jesus
What can make me whole
again? Nothing but the Blood of Jesus
O' precious is the flow;
that makes me white as snow
No other fount I know;
Nothing but the blood of Jesus!
BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD!
Pointing to Jesus Christ of Nazareth, John the Baptist, declared: "Behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the sins of the world." (John 1: 29). His prophecy stirred some of his disciples to follow 'The Nazarene', spreading His Gospel far and wide!
John the Baptist was 'spot on' in his amazing statement that Jesus was the Chosen One, the God-Man, who would redeem fallen Mankind through His sacrificial death on the 'cursed tree' and His glorious resurrection from the dead! (Phil.2: 5-11)
Millions of lambs had died on Jewish altars for more than 2,000 years, waiting for God's Pascal Lamb, the Jewish Messiah to fulfill God's prophecy to Lucifer:
"And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; It shall bruise (crush) thy head and thou bruise His heel." (Gen.3: 15)
Here God laid out His 'Plan of the Ages'. A virgin woman would give birth to the Messiah who would crush the Serpent's head. The SEED of the woman (Christ) would suffer a wound to His heel (death on the cross) but Satan's head would be CRUSHED (when Christ arose) and be eternally defeated!
Seven hundred years before His birth, Isaiah prophesied Christ's vicarious death for our sins and diseases: "Surely He hath borne our sicknesses and carried our pains: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted.
"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed." (Is. 53: 4, 5)
St. Paul stated: "Christ hath redeemed us from the CURSE of the law, being made a curse for us, for it written, Cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree." (Gal.3: 13; Deut. 28: 1-68)
"Blotting out the hand writing of ordinances (statement of guilt) that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a show of then openly, triumphing over them in it." (Col.2:14, 15)
Here is a dramatic picture of Jesus, which was given to St. John: "And I beheld...a LAMB AS IT HAD BEEN SLAIN... And they sung a new song, saying,
"Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof for Thou wast slain and hast redeemed us to God by Thy BLOOD out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation. " (Rev.5: 6, 9)
Anointed by the Holy Spirit, St. John wrote: "But if we walk in the Light (God the Father) as He is in the Light (The Son is in the Father), we have fellowship one with another, and the BLOOD of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin." (1 John 1:7).
THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST, SHED FOR US ON
GOLGOTHA, HAS PURCHASED OUR ETERNAL SALVATION!
(1) WE RECEIVE FORGIVENESS OF OUR SINS THROUGH HIS BLOOD.
"In Whom we have redemption through
His blood, even the forgiveness of sin, according
to the riches of His grace". (Eph. 1:7)
(II) WE RECEIVE REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS BLOOD!
"For as much as ye know that ye
were not redeemed with corruptible
things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition
from your fathers; But with the precious
blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:" (1
Peter 1:18-19)
"Take heed therefore unto
yourselves, and to all the flock, over which the Holy Ghost hath made you
overseers, to feed the church of God, which He hath purchased with His own
blood." (Acts 20:28)
(III) WE RECEIVE CLEANSING FROM SIN THROUGH HIS BLOOD!
"But if
we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with
another, And the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sins.” (1
John 1:7)
(IV) WE ARE LOOSED FROM OUR SINS BY HIS BLOOD!
"And
from Jesus Christ, Who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the
dead, and the Prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him that loved us, and
washed us from our sins in His own blood." (Rev. 1:5)
(V) WE ARE JUSTIFIED THROUGH HIS BLOOD!
"Much more then, being now
justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him." (Rom.

(VI) WE RECEIVE PEACE THROUGH HIS BLOOD!

(VII) WE RECEIVE ACCESS TO THE FATHER
THROUGH HIS BLOOD!
"Having therefore, brethren,
boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living
way, which He hath consecrated for us through the veil, that is to say, His
flesh;" (Heb. 10:19-20)
(VIII) WE RECEIVE
DIVINE HEALING THROUGH HIS BLOOD!
"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for

stripes we are healed." (Is. 53:5)
"Who His own self bare our sins in
His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto
righteousness: by Whose stripes ye were healed." (1 Pet. 2:24)
(IX) WE RECEIVE VICTORY OVER THE DEVIL THROUGH HIS BLOOD!
"And they overcame him (Satan) by
the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony." (Rev. 12:11)
(X) WE ARE SANCTIFIED THROUGH HIS BLOOD!
"Wherefore Jesus also, that He
might sanctify His people with His own blood, suffered without the gate."
(Heb. 13:12)
(XI) WE RECEIVE A CLEAR (PURGED) CONSCIENCE THROUGH HIS BLOOD!
"How much more shall the blood of
Christ, Who through the Eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God,
purge your conscience (mind) from dead works, to serve the Living God?"
(Heb. 9:14)
(XII) WE RECEIVE ETERNAL GLORY THROUGH HIS BLOOD!
"These are they which come out of
great tribulation, and have washed their robes and made them white in the blood
of the Lamb.
“Therefore are they before the throne of
God, and serve Him day and night in His temple: and He that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them…For the Lamb which
is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living
fountains of water: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes."
(Rev. 7:14-17)
CHRIST’S CROSS & OUR SINS!
The
world has a way of crucifying those whom it does not like. Jesus told the
truth. The world could not stand the truth. The world put Him to death. What sin really crucified Christ? Was it
Peter’s denial? Judas’ betrayal? The disciples’cowardice? Can we blame Pilate
for conforming to the crowd’s demands? Does the fault lie with those who cried,
“Crucify Him”? Did the priests weigh in on the crime? It was all these: Denial!
Betrayal! Cowardice! Conformity! Pride! Jealousy! These sins nailed Christ to the
tree. And we are troubled when we see that these very sins reside in us all.
Therefore it is our pride, our conformity, our betrayal which crucified the
Lord Jesus! The cross of Christ speaks of our sin. But, for those who admit
weakness and spiritual poverty, the cross becomes the power of God unto

is awesome. It is greater than any other power and is available for us
today!
There is life – spiritual and physical, and
divine health – flowing from the wounds of our Saviour to us EVEN NOW. Receive Him now as your Lord
and Master and you will receive Eternal Life and become a child of God! He has
promised never to leave you nor forsake you. He will be with you for time and

Missionary Rakel Gustafsson Leaves a Huge Empty Space in many hearts of those who loved her in Sweden, Tanzania, Uganda and Canada as she enters Her Heavenly Home - Pastor Max Solbrekken
Rakel Gustafsson (Lena Solbrekken’s Mother) passed away
at the age of 84 into the presence of the Lord, on May 6, 2014.
As a child, Rakel had a vision and received a call to go to Africa
as a missionary. She spent her young adult years as an Evangelist,
at the age of 84 into the presence of the Lord, on May 6, 2014.
As a child, Rakel had a vision and received a call to go to Africa
as a missionary. She spent her young adult years as an Evangelist,
going from house to house, singing and witnessing. While attend-
ing Bible school, Rakel and Sven-Eric met and later were married.
In 1959, together with her husband, they left Sweden for Tanzania,

Africa. They were able to minister through their songs, which
were recorded on LP, their music and recordings had a big impact
on many. Her time in Tanzania was marked by her outreach to
the schools where she taught the studentsand distributed Gospel

literature, following many conversions, she led the children in
discipleship training. In Tanzania, much was accomplished for
God and His Kingdom through church planting, the building of
medical facilities and helping women, through teaching life skills
and proclaiming the Gospel. In their later years, they went
to Uganda, where they taught at a Bible school and served as the
President. When they were unable to be in Africa and were back
in Sweden, the ministry continued through SonRise, a children’s
sponsorship program. While on furlough in Sweden, Rakel’s
passion for children continued, where she spoke in many schools.
In the town where they lived, Rakel went from house to house
ministering and sharing the Gospel. Her passion for prayer
and evangelization marked this woman of God. Of the many
sacrifices this couple made, none was greater than the death of
their second daughter, Liselott, who passed away from malaria.
Her Godly influence on the lives of her children and
grandchildren will have an eternal impact.

Mom) leaving earth for her Heavenly Home. She was indeed a
powerfully anointed Christian lady with a heart for God and her
people are refreshingly unusual as most people are naturally
more taken up with themselves and their own interests!
