Max Solbrekken Preaches in the World’s Northernmost City!

       It has been a great pleasure for us in North Norway to get a visit from Canadian Norwegian Missionary - Evangelist Max Solbrekken. From all over Norway he received invitations for meetings and crusades, but God moved upon our brother to take a trip up here to our part of the country.

     The people here are very open for a full-gospel ministry, so it was a hungry congregation who crowded in night after night. They heard a clear and pure Gospel with Deliverance for body, soul and spirit and the meetings were blessed I a very special way.

    Our part of Norway is called Finmark and it was in Alta and Hammerfest that Solbrekken was preaching.God was wonderfully near and many received power for healing of their bodies. It was thrilling to see people come running and crying when the altar call was given. Old men who had lived a life of SIN came forth trembling to receive Christ as their Saviour. Even though it was a short visit up here, I believe it had a great impact for God’s Kingdom.

   God used Brother Solbrekken both in and out of the Church. Many accepted Salvation in their home when Brother Max and I visited them. Telephone calls and letters asked for meetings all over North Norway, but that was not possible at this time, since Crusades were waiting for him in other parts of the world. We are sure that Brother Solbrekken has a great work to do here at the TOP of the world.

   Rev. Karl Kykkerud in Alta said the meetings had a good influence in the area, and Alma Halse, a well- known minister in North Norway said that even a greater Revival would break out if only Brother Solbrekken would come back again!

NOTE: In our final service in Hammerfest, God showed me two Mormon missionaries and at the end of the service they bowed their knees as I prayed for them. m.s.
