 JESUS CHRIST, HIGH PRIEST,
 INTERCESSOR!
By Pastor Max Solbrekken, D.D.
“Who is he that condemns? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, Who is EVEN at the Right Hand of God, Who also makes INTERCESSION for us… Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors, through Him that loved us.” (Rom.8: 34, 37)
The STUDY of God's Word is the most life fulfilling and life changing enterprise. Nothing can compare with the PEACE that God's Word brings to the human heart and the HEALING that the Living Christ brings to our innermost being through the Person of the Holy Spirit.
There is no word to describe the cleansing and purging of our conscience through faith in the shed BLOOD of Jesus Christ our Lord:  The Bible says: “How much more shall the blood of Christ Who through the Eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God,  PURGE your conscience from dead works  to serve the Living God.” (Heb. 9: 14)
The JOY that our Lord brings into our lives is beyond comprehension.  Jesus stated: “These things have I spoken unto you, that My joy might remain in you and that your joy might be full.” (John 15: 11). Just before the Cross, Jesus reassured His disciples:  “And ye now therefore have sorrow, but I will see you again and your heart shall rejoice, and your JOY no man taketh from you.” (John 16: 22). “Peace I leave with you, My PEACE I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14: 27).
St. Paul wrote; “REJOICE in the Lord always; and again I say rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the PEACE that passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ.” (Phil. 4: 4-7)
A study of the Life, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ is so astounding that one wonders how there could be anything MORE to praise God for. St. Paul, however, takes us deeper and lifts us higher with these truths about Jesus Christ: “Who is even at the Right hand of God, Who also makes intercession for us.” (Rom.8: 34)
                         THERE IS EVEN MORE!
Our hearts are already full with the amazing things our Lord has done for us.  Then, we realize that there is much more! Jesus is at this moment PRAYING for us all, interceding before the throne of God for our needs. The Bible states that Jesus is our Advocate with the Father and also our Heavenly High Priest. (1 John 2: 1,2)
In the Book of Hebrews we get a glimpse of the INTERCESSION of Christ our High Priest before God the Father for us all! “Where would anyone of us be if Christ were not interceding for us? St. Paul makes the case that Jesus is that High Priest that the prophet declared is greater than Aaron, and after the order of Melchisedek:
“Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. For he testifies, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedek... By so much was JESUS made a surety of a better testament, and they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death.
“But This Man, because He continues ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. Wherefore He is able to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He EVER LIVETH to make intercession for them. For such an high priest became us, Who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens.
“Who needs not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the peoples; for this He did once, when He offered up Himself for the law makes men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of an oath, which was since the law, makes the SON, who is CONSECRATED for evermore.” (Heb. 7: 16, 17, 22-28)
                         HE EVER LIVES TO INTERCEDE!
The work of Redemption did not end with the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It continues through the constant intercession of our Lord and Saviour, as our Heavenly High Priest! He lives to intercede!
Were our sins NOT washed away by His substitutionary death for us on the cross?  And were we not justified by His resurrection from the dead? YES, of course we were!
With the flesh, the world and the devil arrayed against us, we would not, however, be able to continue in a sanctified state without Christ’s intercession for us, and the Holy Spirit within us! Jesus Christ’s intercession for the apostle Peter, brought him back to Faith after he cursed, sworn and vehemently denied knowing Jesus.
“And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, “Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have PRAYED for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen your brethren.” (Luke 22: 31,32)
The Bible declares: “God… hath in these last days spoken unto us by His SON, Whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by Whom also He made the worlds; Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His Person, and UPHOLDING all things by the Word of His Power, when he had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on High.” (Heb.1: 1-3)
                     WHY SATAN HATES JESUS CHRIST!
The Bible reports Christ’s victory over the Evil One during His 40 day fast and Wilderness Temptation. Repeatedly, the Devil sought to have Jesus destroyed. I never quite understood the enormity of Christ’s Victory over Satan on the cross and His Resurrection from the dead, until I began to study His work of INTERCESSION as our Heavenly High Priest.
It is no wonder the Evil, Wicked, Sinister, lying Devil hates Jesus Christ so deeply, when he KNOWS that he is lost, doomed and damned FOREVER, and Jesus our High Priest is FOREVER interceding for us. And that is why he hates all God’s children who trust in the shed blood of God’s paschal LAMB!
The truth is driven home more powerfully when you realize that Christ will always be our Security, constantly looking after us as the ages roll. We will always be His Bride, His Body and sons of God without sin, fear, struggles, sickness, disease or death!
In the same way that Jesus Christ is keeping the universe running smoothly, His intercession to the Father on our behalf SECURES our salvation, because He is Eternal, Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent together with the Father and the Holy Spirit! World without end!
                    CHRIST THE INTERCESSOR!
Johann Tobias Beck, professor of Theology in Tubingen, Germany (1843) stated, “See the difference between having Christ as Advocate or Intercessor Who stands outside of us and having Him within us – our abiding in Him and He in us through the Holy Spirit – perfecting our union with Him so that we can go directly to the Father in His name.”
In his splendid book, Teach Me to Pray, Dr. Andrew Murray writes: “The whole of salvation is Christ Himself. He lives in us. Because He prays, we also pray. Just as the disciples, when they saw Jesus pray, asked Him to make them partakers of what He knew of prayer, so we, seeing Him as intercessor on the Throne, know that He makes us participate with Him in the life of Prayer.
“To understand this, think first of His intercession. He ever lives to make intercession for us. The work of Christ in earth as Priest was but a beginning. It was as Aaron He SHED HIS BLOOD. It is as Melchizedek that He Now lives within the VEIL to continue His work after the power of Eternal Life. As Melchizedek He is more glorious than Aaron, so it is in the work of intercession that the ATONEMENT has its true power and glory. “Christ Jesus Who died – more than that, Who… is at the Right hand of God, and is also interceding for us.” (Rom.8: 34)
“That intercession is an intense reality, a work that is absolutely necessary and without which the continued application of REDEMPTION cannot take place. In the incarnation and resurrection of Jesus, the wonderful reconciliation took place by which man became partaker of the Divine Life and blessedness. But the real personal appropriation of this RECONCILIATION in each of His members here below cannot take place without the unceasing exercise of His Divine Power by the HEAD in Heaven.
“In all conversion and sanctification, in every victory over Sin and the World, there is a flowing forth of the POWER of Him Who is Mighty to SAVE. This exercise of His power only takes place through His prayer. He asks of the Father and receives from the Father. “He is ABLE to save completely, because He lives to intercede.” (Heb. 7: 25)
                          PARTAKERS OF HIS LIFE!
“There is never a need of His people without His receiving in intercession what the Godhead has to give. His mediation on the Throne is as real and indispensable as on the cross. Nothing takes place without His intercession! It engages all His time and power. It is His unceasing occupation at the Right hand of His Father.
“We participate not only in benefits of His work, but also in the work itself, because we are His Body…We share with Jesus in all He is and has. (John 17:22). We are partakers of His life, His righteousness, His works; we share with Him in His intercession too; it is not a work He does without us. We do this because we are partakers of His life. Christ is our life; “I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” (Gal. 2:20).
O’ how great and glorious is this amazing Gospel of Jesus Christ! To Him be honour and glory and praise forever and ever. Amen.

ISIS has 100,000 fighters, growing fast - Iraqi govt adviser

Multitudes of needy people leaving Muslim ruled nations!
Below: 21 Egyptian Christians beheaded by ISIS
FAILURE OF THE ISLAMIC WORLD
RIGHTEOUSNESS EXALTETH A NATION: BUT SIN IS A REPROACH TO ANY PEOPLE! - Prov. 14:34 When the Righteous are in authority, the People Rejoice; but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn! - Prov. 29:2
Jesus Christ stated: "By their fruits ye shall know them!" (Matt.7:15-20). You need not be a philosopher to understand that Islam is a failure in the Middle East and elsewhere. Look at the map and wherever there is trouble, you will find mullahs and imams!
Why are are millions of desperate victims of the vicious, state sponsored oppression in Muslim controlled lands, fleeeing to the West seeking the precious freedom brought about by Believers in Christ?
Persecution, Rape and Beheading is SIN!
Love, peace, joy is fruit of the Holy Spirit. God sent His Son to save us through the Vicarious death and glorious resurrection of His Pascal Lamb, Jesus of Nazareth.
PRAISE BE TO JESUS CHRIST THE KING OF KINGS!

CHRIST’S SEVEN-FOLD
INVITATION TO PRAYER!
By Pastor Max Solbrekken, D.D.
And whatsoever ye shall ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in My name I will do it.” (John 14: 13, 14)
By God’s grace, I will prove definitively and conclusively in this brief treatise, that God not only answers the prayers of His trusting children, but that He delights in doing so!
The Bible says: “Now unto Him Who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Unto Him be glory in the church by Jesus Christ throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” (Eph.3: 20,21)
FOUR THINGS NOTED HERE!
First, God has the ability to meet every need presented to Him in sincere prayer. Our Sovereign Lord is omnipotent, meaning all powerful. Nothing is difficult for Him. He spoke the worlds into being and upholds all things by the Word of His power.
“He (Christ) Who being the brightness of His Glory, and the express image of His Person, and upholding all things by the Word of His Power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on High.” (Heb.1: 3)
“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto Me in Heaven and in earth.” (Matt.28: 18)
Jesus demonstrated his awesome power when He raised Lazarus from the dead. Before healing the paralytic, our Lord emphasized that He could just as easily forgive sins as heal the sick. He didn’t say, “Which is harder?
Secondly, our greatest needs are miniscuel compared to the greatness of His ability to answer. Thirdly, He performs miracles in direct proportion to the Holy Spirit’s power that resides within us. Fourthly, we will glorify Him forever by Jesus Christ!
Jesus said: “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in Me. I am the Vine, ye are the branches: He that abides in Me, and I in Him, the same brings forth much fruit, for without Me ye can do nothing.” (John 15: 4,5)
The KEY to answered prayer is to “ABIDE IN CHRIST”. We know that God is more willing to give than we are to ask.
When you consider how much He has already given us, then it is not difficult to believe that He desires to continue giving and meeting our needs! Consider these Scriptures:
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son…” (John 3: 16); “Hereby perceive we the love of God, because He laid down His life for us…” (1 John 3: 16); “I am the Good Shepherd: the good shepherd lays his life down for the sheep.” (John 10: 11)
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13); “But God commends His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Rom.5:8)
JESUS GAVE US THIS ANALOGY!
Jesus invited: “Ask and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened.” (Matt.7: 7,8)
Our Lord stated, no Father would deny his son’s request for bread by giving him a stone (something useless) or instead of a fish, give him a serpent (something dangerous) to eat.
He concluded: “If ye then, being evil (carnal), know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in Heaven GIVE GOOD THINGS to them that ask Him?” (Matt.7: 11)
Only an ignorant or belligerent person would deny the willingness of God to meet the needs of those who cry unto Him in desperation!
In the following parable, Jesus clearly made a case for determined and consistent prayer:
And He spoke a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not faint (cave in); Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man.
And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto Him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
Yet because this widow troubles me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge says,
And shall not God avenge His own elect, which cry day and night unto Him, though He bear long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily!” (Luke 18:1 – 8)
JESUS CHRIST: THE
EXPRESS IMAGE OF GOD!
It makes you wonder if any of today’s evolutionists, politicians or modernist theologians even have a clue of Who Jesus Christ really is!
St. Paul made it clear that they just “DON’T GET IT.” Here are the anointed words of that great theologian who brought the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Gentile world:
That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect (mature): yet not the wisdom of this world nor of the princes of this world, that come to naught:
“But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, THEY would NOT have CRUCIFIED the Lord of Glory.” (1 Cor.2: 5-8)
The ONE who made all these staggering statements about our Heavenly Father was Jesus Christ, the very Son of God, Redeemer of Israel and Saviour of the World!
THE BIBLE says: “God…hath in these last days spoken unto us by His SON, Whom He hath appointed HEIR of all things, by Whom also He made the worlds; Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His PERSON, and upholding all things by the WORD of His POWER, when He had BY HIMSELF purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on High.” (Heb.1: 1-4)
That Scripture make these things are very clear:
1. God had spoken to the world previously through His holy prophets, but He sent His Own Son to speak to us.
2. Jesus Christ is heir of ‘all things’.
3. Jesus Christ is the Divine Architect and Creator of the worlds.
4. Jesus Christ came to earth to reveal the Father to us.
5. The solar system, planets, stars and universes are kept in their orbits and proper functions by Christ’s power.
6. Jesus Christ doesn’t need any help to save us. He alone shed His precious blood to purge us from our sins.
7. Jesus Christ is NOW seated on the right hand of the Majesty on High!
JESUS PERSONALLY
INVITES US TO PRAYER!
We can trust His Word completely because He is the Way, the Truth and the Life…” (John 14: 6), Jesus Christ cannot change, fail or lie, because He is Holy, Righteous, Eternal, Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent, and His Word is Immutable!
He ALONE could say: “…I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father hath taught Me, I speak these things. And He that hath sent Me is with Me: the Father hath not left Me alone, for I do always those things that please Him.” (John 8: 28, 29)
Seven times in John's Gospel chapters 14, 15 & 16 our precious Lord Jesus Christ invites us to bring our requests to God in prayer. He would not invite us to pray if He were not prepared to answer!
There are hundreds of Scriptures that promise answers to our sincere, faith-filled prayers, as we call upon the name of the Lord in Jesus’ holy name.
I have chosen three chapters from St. John’s Gospel where Jesus specifically invites us to pray, because He declares that we will receive an answer to our prayers!
SEVEN INVITATIONS TO PRAYER!
Here are the seven invitations our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ personally initiated, together with the conditions necessary for their implementation!
NUMBER 1. “And whatsoever ye shall ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” (John 14: 13)
The language that Jesus chose to use in issuing this promise is easy to understand. There is nothing duplicitous about it. He had nothing to hide and He had no problem expressing Himself.
Our blessed Saviour is TRUTH personified and His words were straight forward and to the point! He uses the word ‘whatsoever’ which means exactly what it says. There are no limitations. It covers whatever our needs are!
He specifies, however, that we must ask in HIS NAME. Herein, lies the key
to receiving from Him answers to our prayers. We must understand the value of His NAME; the authority and power that is inherent in His Name!
NUMBER 2. “If ye shall ask anything in My name, I will do it.” (John 14: 14).
Here, Jesus repeats almost word for word what He had said earlier. He stresses that nothing is too hard for Him. We can bring Him the most difficult problems we have and He is able and willing to help us solve them.
It staggers the imagination that the Creator, Life Giver and Great physician promised: “If ye shall ask ANYTHING in My name, I WILL DO IT.”
St. Paul quoted Isaiah: But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things that God hath prepared for them that love Him.
GOD HATH REVEALED THEM TO US!
But God hath revealed them to us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God, that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.” (1 Cor.2: 9,10)
The nation of ISRAEL was terribly backslidden and the Prophet Isaiah called upon the Lord for mercy. In Chapter 63, he rehearses how the Lord had delivered them through Moses and asks for God’s deliverance again.
Oh that Thou would rend the heavens, that Thou would come down…to make Thy name known…that the nations may tremble at Thy presence.”
Then, Isaiah stated: “For since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God beside Thee, what He hath prepared for him that waiteth for Him.” (Is.64: 4)
The great Baptist preacher, DR. VANCE HAVNER, writes: “Paul quoted that in 1 Corinthians 2: 9, and he had in mind not only heaven but the riches of God’s grace for us here and now.
“It is impossible to imagine, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, what God can do TO us and THROUGH us and FOR us when He can find a man who really cares enough to be His instrument.
“That is indicated in verse 5: “Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in Thy ways.”
God will meet any man more than halfway if that man is in dead earnest and means business with heaven!
Here is the question: Who among us will be that man whom God can use to bring His people back into fellowship with Him? To bring the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ into repentance and faith, in order to see His power in revival fire with forgiveness, divine healing and deliverance in His Church again?
Again, our Lord teaches us the value and power that is inherent in His Name! Here is the reason the incomparable name of our Saviour Jesus Christ is so influential, so powerful and life giving!
WHY JESUS’ NAME IS SO POWERFUL!
St. Paul declared: “Christ Jesus…Who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God (He is God the Son): But made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore, God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name:
That at the NAME OF JESUS every knee should bow, of things in Heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Phil.2: 5-11)
In the Great Commission, Jesus gave His Church AUTHORITY and POWER in HIS NAME to speak in new tongues, preach the gospel, cast out evil spirits, heal the sick and be protected from the devil and his cohorts!
He said: “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel unto every creature…And these SIGNS shall follow them that believe; In My name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.” (Mark 16: 15-18)
Unbelieving theologians, using some later discovered older manuscripts with a few missing verses from St. Mark’s Gospel chapter 16 have sowed seeds of doubt as to the veracity of that text. What they don't disclose is that the same manuscripts have missing verses and entire chapters from other parts of the Bible, yet that information has been withheld from the population at large!
GOD'S WORD IS INSPIRED & INNERANT!
In his book, ‘Bodily Healing & The atonement’, DR. T.J. McCROSSAN wrote: “A few scholars have denied the authenticity of the verses in Mark 16, but IRANAEUS quotes these verses as a part of Mark’s Gospel, and remember he was a pupil of John the Apostle. This is positive proof that these words are genuine.”
NUMBER 3: “If ye abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” (John 15: 7). Here is one of the most important lessons we must learn and practice in order to receeive miracles from God.
We must abide in Christ, meaning to give ourselves totally and unreservesly to Jesus Christ until we receive the assurance that we are His, and secondly to take His Word into our hearts to resonate and become a part of us.
NUMBER 4: “Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bare forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in MY Name, He may give it you.” (John 15: 16)
We are important to God since He has chosen us for Himself. When we understand the bond we have with Him and able to call Him our Father, it is easy. One of the first things that Jesus taught His disciples was that God was their Father, something none of the prophets stated.
Jesus teaches us that when we bare bear fruit, we please the Father. Bearing fruit for the Master also shows our devotion to Him and faith in Him. We must show God we mean business, by living the life He demands!
“But without FAITH it is impossible to please Him; for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.”(Heb. 11: 6)
NUMBER 5: “And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in My name, He will give it you.” (John 16: 23)
He referred to the day when He would pour the Holy Spirit upon them. He would no longer be with them, but they would not be alone because He would send them the Comforter, the divine Helper.
He had walked with them for more than three years. He would soon leave them to sit on His Father's Right hand, and they were instrcted to pray directly to Him for whatever they needed. The only prerequisite was, they must ask in His NAME. He was teaching them to use His name and His Heavvenly Father would honour that name, as though He was still with them.
NUMBER 6: “Hitherto have ye asked nothing in My name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.” (John 16: 24). Jesus continued teaching on the importance of His name. He and His name were synonymous. His Father would honour His Name just as if He were there in person. And He wanted them to be filled with joy by having their prayers answered!
NUMBER 7: “At that day ye shall ask in My name: and I say not unto you that I will pray the Father for you: For the Father Himself loveth you, because ye have loved Me, and have believed that I came out from God.” (John 16: 26-27)
There is only one prerequiste for the Father to love us and that is that we love His Son and believe the record that He gave of His Son. If you love Jesus Christ and believe that our Heavenly Father sent His Son to this sin-cursed earth to save us from our sins, He is obligated to love us and come to make His abode with us.
JESUS made it clear that God knows us personally and He doesn't need to run interference for us, but we can have our prayers answered simply by using His name and our faith in His Word. He will keep His promises to us, when we PRAY to our Heavenly Father in faith in Jesus' name! Amen.
THE SEAL OF GOD'S ACKNOWLEDGEMENT!
Dr. John Lake, who was used greatly in the Ministry of Healing stated: Divine Healing is the seal of God's acknowledgment, the proof to the world that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. John the Baptist was in prison. He was troubled with doubt, as to whether Jesus was the Christ. He sent two of his disciples to Jesus to put the question, “Art Thou He that should come, or look we for another?”
His answer was to appeal to the signs of His Ministry. These were, and still are God's answer to doubt and unbelielf:Go and show John those things which ye do hear and see; The blind receive their sight, the lame walk, and the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the Gospel preached to them. And blessed is he whosoever shall not be offended in Me.”
These are still GOD'S SEAL and ENDORSEMENT of the preaching of the TRUE GOSPEL. The preaching that lacks the SIGNS which Jesus promised lacks Divine attestation by which God confirms the preaching of His own True Gospel. The results should be, “And they went forth and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them to confirm the Word with SIGNS following.” (Mark 16:20)
Dear Heavenly Father:
I pray for every man, woman and child reading this article. Please, anoint these words with the Holy Spirit. May your blessing rest upon them all. Please Lord, touch them all with Thy nail-scarred hands and heal them from every evil power, all demonic activity and every sickness and disease. In Jesus' all powerful name, Amen.

P.S. My dear Friend, Please write us with your prayer request!

REVIVAL IN THE DARKEST HOUR;
THERE ARE NO CLOSED DOORS!
                                                      By Pastor Max Solbrekken, D.D.
In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus stated: "...But this is your hour, and the power of darkness." (Luke 22: 53)
"And it was about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. And the sun was darkened, and the vail of the temple was rent in the midst. And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, He said, Father, into Thy hands I commend My spirit: and having thus said, He gave up the ghost." (Luke 24: 44-46)
For the mother of Jesus, His disciples and friends this must have been the darkest hour of their lives. What a MOMENT, when they saw their Lord breathe His last and die as a common criminal on the cross of shame upon Golgotha's Hill.
It was certainly a dark hour also for the chief priests, scribes and Pharisees to see the damaged temple and realize that the vail between the Holy of Holies and the Holy Place had been torn right down the middle, from top to bottom.
                                    NO-ONE DIED IN THE TEMPLE!
What did that mean? Why had no one died, since the way into the Holy of Holies had been opened? If anyone entered there, except the High Priest on the Day of Atonement, he would immediately die! They didn't understand it, but the Presence of Almighty God had left the Temple.
At the moment that He ripped open the vail in the Temple -which separated God from man - Earth's Great High Priest  placed His hands upon the head of Jesus of Nazareth and laid the sins of the entire world, past, present and future on His Only begotten Son and Paschal Lamb.
The pure and perfect sacrifice of Jesus of Nazareth had satisfied God the Father and the transaction had been made. The fountain of blood was already flowing. God had already deserted the Jewish Temple and all other rituals carried on at that place from that moment forward were no longer efficacious.
                                    JESUS IS OUR PROPITIATION!
The blood of bulls, goats and lambs were no longer needed. Jesus Christ had become our PASSOVER. (1 Cor.5: 7). His blood had been poured out to atone for all sins for all time! He is our covering, our propitiation, satisfying the Demands of Divine Justice in the Courts of Heaven.  (Rom.3: 25; 1 John 2: 2)
Immediately, a "fountain for sin and uncleanness" had been opened for sinners everywhere. (Zech.13:1). The very FIRST PERSON to be washed in His precious blood was the thief who hung on His right hand.
He cried out, “Lord, remember me, when Thou comest into Thy Kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with Me in Paradise (Abraham's Bosom). He was already cleansed and made ready for Heaven!
At the 9th hour (3:00 pm), the high priest climbed the steps to the altar in the temple and killed the paschal lamb. At that moment, Jesus cried out, “Father into Thy hands, I commend My spirit: and having said thus, He gave up the ghost.” (Luke 23; 46)
HERE IS AN AMAZING TRUTH!
The paschal lamb had been examined by the high priest for three days. Jesus the Lamb of God was examined for three years by His Heavenly Father, Who declared Him righteous, just and perfect. The high priest tied the paschal lamb to the altar at 9:00 am and at that moment, Jesus was nailed to the cross. Jesus, God's Lamb, and the high priest's paschal lamb both waited for death for six hours. They both died at the ninth hour (3:00 pm).
St. John stated: "But if we walk in the Light as He is in the Light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin." (1 John 1: 7)
"When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, He said, It is finished and He bowed His head and gave up the ghost." (John 19:30)
When Jesus cried "It is finished", He spoke in Greek. He uttered the word, tetelestai, which is taken from the Greek verb teleo. The verb teleo has three essential meanings: to finish something, to put an end to something; to fulfill something; to pay that which is owed!
At that moment, our Lord Jesus Christ had finished His work of atonement. He had put an end to Satan's power over the human race. All who believed in His shed blood could be forgiven and liberated from the powers of darkness. He had fulfilled all the Old Testament Scriptures about the Coming Messiah. He had paid for all our sins, sicknesses and diseases!
The Second Person to be washed in the precious BLOOD of Jesus Christ was the Centurion:
"And the vail of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom, and when the Centurion, which stood over against Him, saw that He so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this Man was the Son of God." (Mark 15: 38,39)
The historical record calls him Centurion Longinus, possibly because he jammed his long spear into the side of Jesus, to confirm his death. When Joseph of Arimathaea begged from Pontius Pilate the body of Jesus, the Governor received personal confirmation of our Lord's death from the Centurion! (Mark 15: 43-45)
There is much writing about Centurion Longinus becoming a powerful evangelist and finally a Martyr for his Lord. One has to wonder if he was the one who was responsible for so many being converted to Christ, before St. Paul made it to Rome!
                                         THE TRUE LIGHT SHINES!
St. John stated: "Again, a new commandment write I unto you, which thing is true in Him and in you: because the DARKNESS is past, and the TRUE LIGHT now shineth." (1 John 2: 8)
For three days the followers of Jesus sorrowed, doubted and waited in fear and trembling. No doubt, they wondered who would be next to suffer the fury of the chief priests. Then, the darkness disappeared and the fog of doubt lifted. Jesus Christ appeared before them alive!
"And as they thus spake, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
"And He said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself: handle Me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see Me have. And when He had thus spoken, He showed them His hands and feet." (Luke 24: 36-40)
Earlier, He had promised to send the HOLY SPIRIT to empower them: “Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me: or else believe Me for the very works sake. Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall ye do also; and greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto My Father.
“And whatsoever ye shall ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ASK anything in My name, I will do it. And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever: Even the Spirit of Truth; Whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him; but ye know Him, for He dwelleth with you and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.” (John 14: 14-18)
                                               THE CHURCH WAS BORN!
Before our Lord ascended to His Father's Throne, He stated: "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." (Acts 1: 8)
Obeying Jesus' command, about 120 of His followers prayed in an upper room, waiting for the promised Holy Spirit. Then, after 10 days of waiting and praying, it happened. The Holy Spirit came and filled them all.
"And when the Day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from Heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
"And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them and they were FILLED with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them." (Acts 2:1-4)
                                              CHRIST AND HIS CHURCH!
Jesus issued His Great commission to the Church: “And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the GOSPEL unto every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these SIGNS shall follow them that BELIEVE.
“In My name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues: These shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay their hands on the sick and they shall recover.” (Mark 16: 15-18)
What was the outcome of the Church going out into all the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Did Jesus keep His promise? Will He keep His promise to us today? The Answer is ‘YES’ to both questions!
“So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, He was received up into Heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the Word with SIGNS following.” (Mark 16: 19, 20)
The Book of Acts tells the story of the amazing power displayed by the Holy Spirit though the lives of the apostles, disciples and the Church in general after the Day of Pentecost, and many years following.
The miracles began happening immediately after the initial outpouring of the Holy Spirit and continued right through the Book of Acts to Paul’s miraculous deliverance from the ship wreck and deadly snake bite, as well as miracles of healing upon the people of Malta.(Acts 28: 1-10)
The supernatural sign of glossolalia (speaking in tongues) brought the multitudes together and after hearing Peter’s message about Jesus’ death and resurrection, three thousands souls were saved. A short while later, a crippled man was made well and five thousand more answered the salvation call.
Peter was delivered from prison by an angel, people brought the sick and laid them on the street so that even the shadow of Peter might overshadow them, bringing healing in Jesus’ name! Through the ministry of two deacons, Stephen and Philip, great miracles occurred and multitudes turned to the Lord. The miraculous deliverance of Saul of Tarsus on the Damascus Road and his entire life as the Apostle to the Gentiles is so gripping one can hardly lay the New Testament down.
The Church began during tough times and dark days and has not only survived but grown in power and strength. Today, almost two millennia later Christ's Church is still on the frontlines and I believe that as we enter even more difficult times, we will overcome in Jesus' name. Hallelujah!
Recently, Billy Graham, the 97-year-old Gospel Crusader warned the American Church to prepare for persecution! God did not promise us a recreation ground but a battlefield.
                                              PERSECUTION IS NORMAL!
JESUS said: “These things have I spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have PEACE. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33).
And St. Paul admonished: “Yea, and all that will live Godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” (2 Tim.3:2)
In 197 A.D, Tertullian stated: “The blood of Martyrs became the seed of the Christians.” A mid-second century speech made to the pagan Diogneto of Rome by an unknown author, carried this warning:
"Do you not see that (the Christians) thrown to the wild beasts - that they may recant the Lord - do not allow themselves to be beaten? Do you not see that the more they are punished, the more the others increase in numbers?"
Concerning His own Death, our Lord Jesus Christ stated: Verily, verily, I say unto you, except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.” (John 12: 24, 25)
Personally, I believe that persecution is healthy for the Church. And at this very time, God is ready to pour out His Holy Spirit as never before and it is up to us to carry His Gospel everywhere possible, using every method possible, during all the time we have left to do so! Hallelujah.
All glory to the Lamb that was slain for our sins, was buried and raised from the dead on the third day! He is alive and has all power in Heaven and in earth. And as He promised, He will return. Trust Him today, my friend! Amen.

The corruption in Governments, Law Enforcement Departments, the Media and the blind eye of the church is responsible for these atrocious, wicked and devilish attacks on precious children like Karla Jacinto. How much different are they than the Satanic SIS monsters? Let us protect our children from Islamic Terrorists who rape and behead as well as others who destroy precious children! - Pastor Max Solbrekken

‘I was raped 43,200 times’: Human trafficking victim reveals harrowing ordeal

Karla Jacinto, now 23, says she was lured from her home in Mexico as a 12-year-old by a trafficker who used lollies, a fast car and his affections to groom her before forcing her into prostitution.
She was eventually taken to the Mexican city of Guadalajara, where she was forced to work in a brothel in horrendous conditions.
“I started at 10am and finished at midnight,” she told CNN in a harrowing interview.
“Some men would laugh at me because I was crying. I had to close my eyes so that that I wouldn’t see what they were doing to me, so that I wouldn’t feel anything.”
At one point, Ms Jacinto, who was then just 13, said police conducted a raid and she believed she was saved.
But the officers simply rounded up the girls and demanded sexual favours or they would send naked pictures of them to back home to their families.
“I thought they were disgusting. They knew we were minors. We were not even developed. We had sad faces. There were girls who were only 10 years old. There were girls who were crying. They told the officers they were minors and nobody paid attention.”
Beaten and abused by pimps, she fell pregnant to one and gave birth at 15. The man used the infant as leverage, she said.
Ms Jacinto was eventually rescued in an anti-trafficking sting in 2008, after a four year ordeal in which she estimates she was forced to have sex with an average of 30 men a day, seven days a week.
CNN says it confirmed Ms Jacinto’s story through the United Against Human Trafficking organisation, which looked after her after she was rescued.
She has previously spoken with Pope Francis at conference on modern slavery in July and has shared her story in the US Congress.
She said she had “no other identity” beyond that of a sex object and urged the Congress to do more to stop the criminal enterprise, The Washington Times reported
“I was forced to serve every kind of fetish imaginable to more than 40,000 clients,” Ms Jacinto told the House Foreign Affairs subcommittee on Africa, global health, global human rights and international organizations.
She said many of her clients “were foreigners visiting my city looking to have sexual interactions with minors like me”
Sex trafficking is believed to account for 80 per cent of the world’s 20 million to 30 million “modern-day slaves”, Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes told US politicians after Ms Jacinto’s address in May. Two million of those are estimated to be children like her.
There are between 20 million and 36 million slaves around the world in 2015, including 5.5 million children.
