SALVATION: AT WHAT PRICE?

I am only a Messenger Boy for Jesus! The Message is far more important than the Messenger. Forgetting me is inconsequential, but if you forget Him you have lost everything. Why is that? I am only a man - a Man of God no less - but He is True God from eternity and True Man by His incarnation (God in human flesh), born of the Virgin.

Why did He die on the Cross? He was born to suffer, bleed and die to meet the demands of divine Justice for mankind's sins! He was God's Pascal Lamb and our Substitute. JESUS CHRIST took our place on the cross, paying the awful penalty for our sins. By rising from the dead three days later, He purchased our Justification and Redemption for time and Eternity!

You cannot Pay for or Earn your Salvation! You cannot pay for a Gift. Eternal Life is a free gift to us from our Heavenly Father, purchased at the cost of the shed Blood of Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son! How can I receive that gift? The Holy Bible states: "He came unto His own and His own received Him not. But to as many as received Him, to them gave He the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name." (John 1: 11, 12)

To receive Eternal Life you must Receive Jesus Christ Himself!  You must believe on His name, believing that He is God the Son together with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. You must believe that He is the One that God promised would come to CRUSH the Serpent's head. That He is  the seed of the woman and promised Jewish Messiah, Who "came in the flesh" and through His death and resurrection purchased our Eternal Salvation! (Gen.3:15; 1 John 4: 1-3)

Jesus Christ prayed to His Father in Heaven: "Father, the hour is come; glorify Thy Son, that Thy Son also may glorify Thee. As Thou hast given Him power over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as Thou hast given Him. And this is Life Eternal, that they might know Thee the only True God, and Jesus Christ Whom Thou hast sent." (John 17:2,3). "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3: 16).

God answers the prayers of His Children: God's Word states: "And this is the record, that God hath given to us Eternal Life, and this life is in His Son. He that hath the Son hath life, and he that hath not the Son of God  hath hot life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God. And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He heareth us: And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him." (1 John 5: 14,15) Amen.
