My beloved father, Ingvar Solbrekken, was miraculously healed from serious gall bladder trouble and a rapid heart beat, through the radio ministry of Oral Roberts, and also filled the Holy Spirit; something that was very new to us. His life was dramatically changed and he and other members of my family began praying for me. Donna and I and our little family had been transferred from Kimberley to Prince George. My father's experience was very powerful and I came under a strong conviction of sin although we were attending church. In June 1957, we began our annual vacation and headed home to see my parents in Saskatchewan. On that journey my life was changed because I returned to the faith of my childhood and also received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in my parent's home. I returned to Prince George a changed person and I began seeking God and witnessing for Jesus Christ while I worked as a Commercial Traveller for McCormicks. God had blessed us with an awesome job and I continued to work hard and study, witness and preach. For six years God used me in the Business Community and I had the privilege of preparing for the world-wide Ministry to which He was calling us. In September 1963 we left Prince George for White Rock,B.C and to the nations of the world with the burning message of Christ Crucified, Risen and Coming Again.
