The Politically Correct Pinheads at A&E had to back off on their discriminatory and offensive bigotry against Phil Robertson, when millions of Real Americans recolied in horror to their bullying of Christians and Freedom of Speech. Thank God that sanity prevailed! - Pastor Max Solbrekken

The last couple of weeks have been tumultuous to say the least, for the Robertson clan. Patriarch Phil Robertson was suspended by A&E networks after controversial comments he made regarding gays and African-Americans were published in GQ magazine.

The suspension has been lifted and the network plans to start shooting a new season of “Duck Dynasty” in the spring. And according to People magazine the Louisiana based family are relieved that the media maelstrom is over.

“The family is happy that they can put this behind them,” a source told People. "It got a little out of hand. Phil has never been disrespectful to anyone and treats everyone with kindness. He made some comments off the cuff that he shouldn't have made, and he knows that."

The source confirmed that the Robertson family were solidly behind their family leader and the comments didn’t create any rifts.

"The family knows his heart and knows that he wasn't trying to be hurtful," the source continued. "They just want to finish celebrating the holidays and are looking forward to getting back to work."
