In 1987 Dr. Bishop Manuel Ferreira & Dr. Max 
Solbrekken received the International Freedom
Journalist Award at City Hall in Rio de Janiero,
Brazil. Previous recipients include Israeli Prime 
Minister Prime Minister Golda Meir, President 
Ronald  Reagan of the USA, British Prime 
Minister Margaret Thatcher and President 
Nelson Mandela of South Africa.

Max Solbrekken reconnects  with his old  friend, 
the esteemed Dr. Bishop Manuel Ferreira, at his
home in Brazil in 2004 after 17 years. During 
2004 and 2005 they worked together for Jesus 
Christ in massive crusades across Brazil
Pastor Max Solbrekken prays for the leading
pastor of the Roman Catholic Cathedral, Valetta
Malta on Dec. 6, 1973 after His Grace Michael 
Gunzi extended the permission for the Canadian 
Evangelist to conduct the first Gospel Crusade 
held by a Protestant Preacher on Malta during
